Since it is a SWT topic, does anyone know what Chabasco means in english?
Also, why did they give Ricochet it's name if it gives you the feeling of cows? I though ricochet is like shooting a gun at something and it ricochets off of it.

Thats the one thing i can't stand about the SWT. Is how it can get sooo hot! But otherwise it would have to be my favorite territory in the park!
Well this is actually kind of funny on the Chubasco thing, but it means "heavy shower". Doesn't really seem to make sense...but it's a cool name nonetheless.
The only way I can see it as being a heavy shower is that you pour the tea into the cups (which would be like a shower), or that it cools you off like a shower. Himalaya (carnival ride) was named because it would make people feel cool in the hot weather. Thanks for the info though.

The feeling of cows? They gave it its name because the cars seem to "Ricochet" as they go up and down.
That's ok my #1 coaster in the park is about a cow that went insane...

I actually stood in line for Viper (my first time this season to stand in line for it when it was outside the station in 43 visits) and I noticed that they put covers over the straightaway. Weird, I never noticed those before although Danhockey said they were there all year. We just stayed under one until the line moved to the other one then we'd go stand under that one
