They had the bins in the station back today. Maybe they finnally realized they don't stack when they have those.

So total park update 6/22/04:
Triple Play, nope.
The temporary sign was at Chaos probably because the will not open sign was at...
....V2 will not open today.
I was first dispatch 1A on Vu I believe Kaiser already menchined that opened.
Demon running 3 trains, on a weekday!
Both dueling flumes open, on a weekday!

It is great that you got on first dispatch 1A of Vu, and the park must be terrible because of the crowds, I hate when it is crowded

Have they started running all 9 cars on Cajun, or is that still hard to do? I hope that happens soon, or else they will have some not-so-happy peeps in line, for capacity's sake.

Honestly they need more than 3 ride ops in that station to run 9 cars. If they had maybe 7 or 8 ride ops it would be a different story, and the line would always be moving which would be nice because right now there is a lot of standstill in that queue.

I think nine cars is too much for that ride, especially for the safety of GAm guests. It probably could do nine cars, but the more cars you have, the more dangerous (keeping your eyes on all guests because you never know and make sure the cars don't crash due to mechanically difficulties) it becomes. You never know. I'm not saying that it will happen, it's just that the more trains or cars you put on a track, the greater the risk and I wouldn't take it if I was the park. Four or five is okay, but nine is too much for that ride, and I'm a person that believes that Viper should have another train.

Yes the line is slow, but BTR, RB, V2, and so on had long lines the first years they were open and continue today. So pretend you are on one of them. Compared to any other coaster (besides kiddie), the que is one of the shortest in ft.

Back to my question, did they change the base of Triple Play because I don't believe it looked like that before.

Disney runs nine and they probably have the cleanest safety record on the block.

Does the lift speed up when you run nine? If it doesn't change than I see no reason to run another train.

You sure about that?

Disney has had its fair share of safety problems recently.

Disney runs 12. MIA has a wild mouse that I think is smaller then ours and they run 8 cars. It can be done, I have a feeling that all the sensor ect are not working correctly which is why the ride is having frequent break downs. During the night I think they are working on it till they fix all the issues.

MIA has 10 cars on theirs, though I've never seen them run more than 9. Doesn't make the line move any faster though thanks to extreme stacking.

Well, I guess I'd would rather have them run 4 or 5 trains for safety reasons, rather than 9 trains with stacking issues.

EDIT: For the person that said SW ran 4 trains, what happened to that train?

When I was at WDW, the line seemed short, but the line in length of time had the same problem as we have over here. Also, it has more cars, but seems to me to be twice as big. So, with this type of roller coaster you are going to have this type of problem, if you consider it a problem.

I think that they have been having problems because last time I was on it, they made us switch seats because there was too much weight on one side, and they had to move it to the left and down to have the censors catch to start the ride, and that takes time.

King Chaos open all day.
Ragin Cajun VERY hard trims ruins the ride, read the other Cajun topic for more elaborate detail.
V2 will not open today.

I would just like to add that SFGAm has now (about two weeks ago, sorry I forgot) put up a plexy(sp maybe)-glass thing on D Vu, so you can't talk to the worker doing the controls.

This is good because you have some people flirting with the workers, but sometimes it is bad when you can't even ask them if the row is open. No one was in the row, so I had to ask a mechanic, and of course the whole station was crowded. One seat was open in the row.

Yeah I noticed that plexiglass up. There's also that metal cover over the control panel.
