Okay, I'm going to sfgam the first time this season finally (after lots of mixups) and I was wondering. What is the earliest time they let you in the park. Last year when I went, we got toi th park at a little after 9:30 and there were loads of people already in.

I wanna know what time I should get there so I can get the max. of my day.

They let you in the park at 9:30, you get cut off at the bridge by hometown station and the bridge right before you enter Mardi Gras. No rides open until 10:00 and thats also when they drop the chains.

(I highly encourage racing others to your favorite coaster.)

One more question. Dose Superman still have a wasps nest in the quene line. Last year the was a huge nest in one of the trees in the switchbacks. I don't like bees, wasps, and any other insect or arachnid/bugs and whatever so it was a big problem last year. I went to guest relations and told them about it and they said they'll look into it. I havn't had the chance to update on it. Has anyone else seen this thing. One of those giant wasps almost stung me.

If you're a season pass holder and use the 'Season Pass Morning Entrance' (close to guest relations) they open that line about 9:25 or about 5 minutes before the other gates.

The wasps don't come (or at least get bad) till August.
Also S:UF now has bins in the station so don't worry about a locker.
The season pass morning entrance lets you in a few minutes early if you get there early enough (gates 1-4 on the west side of admissions).

Usually the Season Pass entrance still has the shortest lines even after 9:30.
