...the FastLane system is much simpler and more efficiant anyway.

Fastlane may be simpiler but Lo-Q is 100 times better. Let me tell you this from experience I have used both before. Fastlane you pay what is it $10 now for 4 rides and you still have to wait a good 10 minutes for some rides.

With Lo-Q you can go the entrance of any ride that has Lo-Q swip you pager and it gives you a time to come back. You can swip the pager in as many lines as you want, but it will only do one ride at a time. So if you swip it for S:UF for example and it says 3:26 then you get there at 3:26 and get off the ride. And while you were waiting for you S:UF say you swipped it at V2 and Ragin' Cajun. When your done with your S:UF ride then it will give you a time like 4:12 for you V2 ride.

Really Lo-Q is like a computer waiting in the line for you. It is supposed to give you a time close to the amount of the actual queue line. This way you can go ride say RB while Lo-Q has a tiem set for you for Viper. Then when you done with RB you can go and get your ride on Viper with no wait.

From my experience with Lo-Q at SFOG the times it gives for your ride are usually pretty inaccurate in a good way though. It gave me about a 15 minute wait for S:UF when the line was really a good 30 minutes. Its a really good system and way better then Fast Lane. The only thing better then it though is Fast Pass and Universal Express because those are free but out of ones that cost money, Lo-Q is the best.

Lo-Q does beat fastpass anyday, but istill dont se it happening not only because of Lo-Q's financial situation, but you have to remember, Fastpasses are very popular and are bringing in 100% profit right now, maybe if the popularity of fastpasses goes down well something but i highly doubt it

i cant see it happening, they make money off of fastlane, 15 dollars for one fastlane, and they need the money

First, off its Fastlane, saying Fastpass is confusing becuase it is what Disney uses. Also, Lo-Q's cost more to rent so they wouldn't be losing any profit, in fact they would probally gain profit! I think it was $25 for one person, $45 for 2 people, $55 for 3 people, and $60 for 4 people, that was for the 2003 season and I am not 100% sure about those prices.

I got my season pass at SFOG that year so I got one of their coupon books and it had a coupon for a free Lo-Q so that is why I used it.

Lo-Q is still around and doing well, SFGAm is one of the only SF parks left that has a queue management system that isnt Lo-Q. I'd expect to see it sooner or later. Is a far more fair system than Fast Pass, though nothing at all is really the best option.
