Stargate not finished?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I dont think stargate is finished at gam because of these reasons:
The press release from six flags and mgm said that the rides will be installed along with a themed queue that will keep passengers in the know about the tv show and stuff. It also said the full ride experience would be 20 minutes long. I dont think the queue was done and they just opened the motion simultor part because I walked right onto the ride. Also, the ssa sign was still up. Furthermore, how could such a crummy ride be the number one attraction in germany? Heres some piccs of the station of the stargate in germany that the press release said we would get, but never delivered. http://sfgam.thrillnetwork.net/modules. ... _photo.php . Now do you see how exciting the ride could be if they did it right?

What do you think wil happen to stargate? Do you think the press release is bull, or do you think they will keep fixing the queue during week days? I personally think there out of time.

Interesting. They have this one last work week and then the park is open on weekdays. I think they meant to only give us the film. Though that queue would be pretty cool. Ill give them this one last work week. After that, if its not there, we aint gettin that nice new queue.

I think SSA will be back in two years...isn't that the contract the signed? If it's going to be gone so soon they won't change the entire queue line.

Also could depend how popular it is this year.

I think it is a temp thing that will eventually change back to SSA. Also for being the top ride in Germany, Space Park is very small with less than a dozen rides, including a small coaster ridden with VR helmets and a lackluster Huss Tower ride.

Also of note, Space Park is effectively failing miserably acording to Amusement Business.
