Rip Yahoo River though, apparently it's been at the park since 1976, pretty sure starting its life at Fort Fun too

Yeah, we can only hope that either something better replaces it, or Sprocket Rockets gets moved to a new and improved kids area.

Sprocket might be safe for now.

Sprocket Rockets looks safe as of now. The queue and ride are still intact. As for Crazy Bus and Yahoo River who knows if they’d be relocated to the new kids area or not. Crazy Bus is still visible on property in that video.

Now is the perfect time to rename Sprocket Rockets to David.

What's stopping it from being renamed to something Yukon/Bugs Bunny related?

I guess it’ll depend on what they plan on doing with the surrounding area. I’ll be interested to see if they do anything with Wilderness Theater soon.

Honestly i hope it doesn't get demoed, especially since it does seem like they're trying to bring back entertainment to the park but knowing how Cedar Fair was to CGA's theater it's up in the air.

Also i think part of the bleachers were already demoed when constructing Goliath, but we'll see if it stays or not

Yes! When Goliath was being constructed, they removed bleachers from Wilderness and some of the picnic grove.

Fox, I think you were on to something when you mentioned Looney Tunes stuff was playing in camp cartoon last year.

I am still convinced Camp Cartoon will become the new looney tunes kids area and the family launch coaster mentioned in the survey will replace the go karts.

Let's see what happens!

Interesting statement. They are still referring to the area as Camp Cartoon, so I guess that will survive for one more season with just Sprocket Rockets. They also said the two flat rides in Camp Cartoon have been removed "for the 2026 season", so I expect them to be brought back, maybe for a new kids area in 2027? Although would a kids area be considered an "innovating offering to families visiting the park"? My guess is we end up getting the family launch coaster they surveyed people about in place of Camp Cartoon (and possibly Wilderness Theater), and we also get a kids area where the Go-Karts were.

This appears to be a fairly large project. Since they are already working on it at the beginning of 2026.

Having two rundown kids' areas at a flagship pak like Great America is not a good look. I hope Kidzopolis ends up getting demolished as well and all the kids rides are consolidated into one nicely themed Looney Tunes area

They could do all sorts of stuff with the Kidzopolis site and if they move the Hometown kids rides, they could put something awesome like a large Ferris wheel or a S&S screamin swing in that site

Yes. They use the term “long term” when referring to this family project.

My guess is all of Yukon because the new kids area utilizing the old Go Karts and Camp area. You have 2 solid family rides with Dipper and Loggers already. My guess is Sprockets will go after this season. The ride is old and they can replace it with a much new version.

Then once all that is done, Kidzopolis closes and that area (along with maybe Johnny Rockets or part of the old Revy/Games gallery will be the family launch coaster)

From the looks of this photo. They tore up everything. Including the pavers and the Camp Cartoon sign. However, they left the pavers intact that lead to Sprocket Rockets entrance.

I can't wait to see the next drone update. It will be interesting to see if Wilderness and some of its surrounding buildings will get demolished

Also interesting, they left the walls intact instead of demolishing them

In all honesty, That's exactly where I would want a Screamin's Swing to go and it would be a perfect successor to Revolution. Both Hershey Park and Busch Gardens have opened Screamin' Swings recently.

As for Hometown Park, I still consider it a major missed opportunity. The 3-point Challenge Game should have been moved for it, you can still see the round brick where the old rides used to be in that location.

I don't think Wilderness Theater is going anywhere yet, but we will have to see in the next few weeks.

If it was removed along with Sprocket Rockets, then I would definitely want to see a Vekoma Family Coaster or Glider there.

Has there been any update on Fast Lane? All Season appears to have gone from $399 a few weeks ago to $999 currently? WOR and Maxx Force still don't seem to be included.

No updates there, no other parks show the all-season for 1K besides the ones in the Midwest Region. So I guess that's just exclusive to us because our region contains parks like SFGAm, Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Canada's Wonderland which are all big hitters. Imagine St Louis or Michigan's Adventure being your home park and being asked $1,000 for an all-season Fast Lane.

If that doesn't change I won't be getting all season fast lane this year. I could handle $500, but $1,000? Yikes. As for the missing rides, they did say at No Coaster Con they were still finalizing it. I did find something interesting though, Six Flags was supposed to stop using the Accesso system in 2026, but it seems the website has returned with Fast Lane Branding. If you look at other regions you can also see "Fast Lane Ultimate" along with "Mobile Device Required" are mentioned, that lines up with Legacy Six Flags Parks.
https://gr.sfflashpass.com/

To add to this, the website doesn't even show the correct rides on the Purchase Page.
Full Throttle, West Coast Racers and more!

I would imagine Cedar Point being included in our region is part of the problem. From their subreddit, they've said that their all season fast lane has always been $1,000. I'd be much happier if Cedar Point was excluded because that's more of a destination park. In their quest to simplify the pass system, the Midwest has the best batch of parks while also getting royally screwed in pricing.

I find this very strange. It does seem like the Flash Pass website has been rebranded to Fast Lane but if you’ve been keeping up with other parks like Magic Mountain they’ve completely switched to the wristbands and their website (https://mm.sfflashpass.com) says it’s no longer available.

I imagine the change was for general site branding as to not confuse guests.

That was the message I was seeing initially, but it's not showing it for Great America anymore.

Bizarre.

The inconsistencies from the merger is what's causing all this confusion.
