For Advocate health day you need to be apart of the Advocate, or know somebody apart of Advocate to get tickets. New rides and some coasters that aren't quite ready are down for the events usually. I've never been to Advocate Health day before when all the rides were up and running.
Well my dad won't have the money for 2 weeks so I may not be going to this B96 event.
If I remember correctly this event did not sell out last year, I found out about it a week or less before the event last year and it said tickets were still on sale.
I hope that happens again so I can be able to get my ticket to go.
I am also going cause my AIM friend in Indiana is coming and I want to meet him.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
Actually the event did sell out last year -I couldnt get tickets because I waited till the last week. The reason I have gone in the past a few times are admission is limited. So when tickets are gone thats it. That means no long lines for most rides.Almost all the rides are open at least the major ones. I could care less about the music performer but alot of people stand there and watch and ride lines get shorter.Q101 does the same thing there for fright fest sometimes.and I think I remember them doing it for april once or so.But anyway the main draw is after they reach 10,000 people thats it -(that was the number in the past) . So it wont get over crowded. As for staff they have plenty just no shows and not a lot of food open.I even saw them turn away people at the gate who drove there and tried to get tickets.
Q101 dosen't buy out the park though, so it's just a Q101 event at the park. I remember getting up on Saturday mornings hearing Q101 being at the park outside of Superman all summer long. Again, it wansn't a buyout-just a promotion.
that was the zone outside superman all summer long. they were near the fried chicken place the year before. actually, I've never heard of a q101 event at GAm
