The $20 ticket upgrade to season pass

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I see on there website that on May 2 and 3 you can get a ticket for 19.76 and then upgrade to a season pass for 29.99 more at the park. Is this a full pass or just a Trill pass? I have tried calling the park and they just have a looping system on there phone system. Any help on this would be great, or a number that I can talk to somebody at the park.

I called two days ago and got a hold of a few ladies on the phone, they have all said its 29.99+tax to upgrade to a regular pass 99.99+tax to upgrade to Gold Season Pass from the 19.76 Opening Weekend Pass.

They also said they will not apply the $25 to the upgrade of the gold pass even though gold includes parking. However if you upgrade to a season parking pass thats good just at SFGAM then the 25 would be applied to the 80

Also the Opening Weekend ticket price is ONLINE ONLY and ends on May 1st. They will not be selling it at the gate.

So in the end since my partner and I don't care about the bring a friend tickets I just bought 2 opening tickets, the green unlimited free refill sports bottle, and daily parking ahead of time. Then in the park we will upgrade his ticket to regular and since I'm always with him, mine will go gold (we may be moving to florida and wanna visit six flags over atlanta, and we might try to get a St. Louis visit in too). In the long run this saves us the most then doing just season parking, or buying passes outright.

The number on the website is just an info line, unless you play the "i got transfered to the wrong department" game...I ended up calling 847-249-4636 and within 1 minute was connected to the fine folks in Guest Relations.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P
