...sorry...
Also, I know the park isn't in the budget for one, but "someone" said that the interviewee says whatever the park wants him to tell the interviewer. So, the interviewer asked what ride would be cool to add if they had the money. Without even a pause, the interviewee says a Dive Machine. Anyone think that maybe we may get one of these?
Now, don't get me wrong, this is big, expensive, and ALMOST completely out of budget, but, what if we got one like Alton Towers has?
And, if we did get one, what would you want the layout to be?
I personally would love it to go underground and have some 90 degree angled turns and come out near the entrance to great America through a hammer head turn and back under with an immelman loop coming out of the ground and a few airtime hills at the ending right after a rooster tail water pool to end the ride.

Wait, when did they confirm that? I know that during the Q&A they were good with water rides in the dry park (Roaring Rapids, Yankee Clipper, Loggers Run, and Buccaneer Battle), but he also said they were popular attractions. Just trying to get my facts straight.

Normally, we infer on this forum. Basically saying that when Hank said that we were okay with water rides, we inferred that he means we will not be getting another one OR an expansion.
Also, keep in mind I didn't think that this was going to happen. I'm just thinking big because 'You gotta think big to be big!' The one ride I really hope we don't get is a spinner or a wild mouse. The GP does NOT want this...well maybe like 1% but the rest doesn't. And I'm not sure what Mr. Six's Dance Machine is but it sounds like a spinner. I actually had a bad dream about this last night O_O Don't add it sfgam dont add.
But there is still some good news. We can all keep dreaming until the announcement comes out YAY
Last Visit, American Eagle BACKWARDS 5 times in a row right before the park closed. I cannot WAIT to go back for Fright Fest!
I highly doubt they would announce anything before a zoning board meeting took place. Just because there is a 0.01% chance gurnee would deny it. So if an announcement is coming, don't expect a roller coaster over 125ft.

Oblivion wouldn't fly in the states. It would need to be better than Sheikra and Griffon or there's no point in building it. We have enough underachieving coasters already...... One thing that both Sheikra & Griffon don't have that could be done, would be a relentless airtime hill at the end, since the riders are strapped in tight and no one would float away. Something stronger than what Raging Bull has.
