^ Way too early to know that. All that is known right now is that Yankee Clipper won't open until early June and Little Dipper won't open until late May or June. Railroad probably won't open until mid/late May based on recent years.
^I'd also suspect the Rapids and Loggers Run to be down as well, along with very few, if any, shows running. Last year also had the Hometown Fun Machine out of commission.
I'm thinking the rapids will be open, as the ride is set to handle colder temperatures. But based on this coming weekend, I don't anticipate that it will be at all "cold".
^ Either ride should be able to operate opening weekend based on weather alone. What it will come down to is whether it will be warm enough for anyone to want to ride. So I would say Logger's is more likely to be open since Rapids gets you more wet.
Only 50 more days to go! I want my funnel cake, Nutty Buddies and some churros! ALthough i attempted to make my own funnel cake sundae. Ill admit it wasnt too bad!
Off-Topic: At the Go Bananas in Noridge, does anyone know anything about the coaster? I have a coupon for 7.99 unlimited rides. So. I'm a dirty whore. Or I just can't wait.
What's really funny, is that you think I'm from the GP (General Public). When indeed, I most likely know far more about the coaster, as I've rode it multiple times.
The forecast for this spring is warmer temperatures and the summer should be much warmer than last. I see Rapids and Loggers open as the park opens on a Saturday right? If it is at least in the 50's-low 60's (a given), crowds should be decent and the water rides open. For the first two weeks in June Clipper will only be open weekends. I still think Clipper is better than Loggers.

Leave the Phone in the car.
Who are you going to text, twitter, facebook or call when your at Six Flags?
Definitely need the zippers. I had my phone secured pretty well in a regular pocket and my lef tight against the seat on Bull...sure enough on our way down the hill with the ride camera (we were in the font row), we see my phone floating out in front of us traveling the same speed and direction as us! Then suddenly it shoots off to the right...got it the next day, still powered on! But had a shattered screen. Fun times I tell ya.

If you really want to suffer, wear jeans. It worked great for me at MOA.

IDK but for some odd reason, i checked on weather.com and the forecast still calls for 57 degress with showers on opening day. I typed in the location, which was SFGAM and it said "Forecast for Six Flags Great America Theme Park." Hmm......I cant find anywhere where it says its not supposed to rain. Oh well. Im praying for no rain AT ALL. Heres the link: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/47467:20
