not sure, though I think it was quite a bit more than that, they had to replace basically all the wood on the ride. They had to widen every bent, trains needed a lot of rehab.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
33,000 for the ride, 10% buyers fee from the auction, transportation, cost of removal of stuff from LTNP/BBNP, cost of installation, cost of rehab. come on people, you should know nothings cheap no more in this world
What's really funny, is that you think I'm from the GP (General Public). When indeed, I most likely know far more about the coaster, as I've rode it multiple times.
yes i totally agree to that. it's just hilarious that people think a coaster costs so little. Sure the coaster in and of itself may only cost 33,000 dollars, but there's so much more than just "buy coaster, plop it down". Think of even the money you have to pay for land surveyors, whoever puts the coasters together, the people who had to show up to purchase the ride. Theres probably atleast a few hundred people who brought this all together just for a chicago landmark. Oh and don't forget those awesome building "permits" you have to buy! This aint RCT people.
