I agree...any underground place is truly the safest place to be in the event of a severe storm or a tornado.
I remember one visit where the weather got really nasty for a bit and there was a tornado watch in our area, the sirens were blaring. We went into the Grand Music Hall in Hometown Square for a show before all the nasty stuff started (before it was really crowed at the park)...after the show, we had found out that the worst of the severe weather had passed, enough for the big coasters to open again!!! The really good thing is the severe weather had sent home a lot of people, the park was way LESS crowded than it was before!!! A good thing for us, because we stayed and enjoyed the rest of the day with ride lines that were small or non-existent at all!!!

Another day I was there with my sister and the sirens went off while we were in the parking lot. An employee from the stroller rentals told us to take shelter in there. Like that would have helped  .

Sounds like you should not go with your sister anymore :P

Park closed early today we were told by security that if the weather got worse we would have have to take shelter in the music hall. WoW it was really raining hard and the cables on STT where really banging hard. I never heard it so loud.

Personally if there was a very bad storm I would either go into the demon tunnel or break into the nearest building.

It doesn't bother me though at all. There isn't much that can really happen as far as flying debris goes. And if I do die, whatever happens happens I guess.
