Previous years, the water was dependent on what you go on. Skull Island was freezing and the wave pool was warmer. It depends really, maybe someone that was there can better answer. But last time I went this time of year, the water was cold and not tolerable, so I had to leave.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
I was shocked at how un-crowded HH was with the long weekend and the weather being really nice and pretty warm until 4 or 5. I can imagine being at HH later in the day when the temps dropped and being soaking wet...sucks but I'll try to do a HH-only trip in June or July. When temps are always in the 80's-90's. May is always unpredictable.
I'm debating about going another day. Wish I could tell my boyfriend... But we've done this on chilly days before, lol. It's great when there's no lines. But yeah, I freaked when weatherbug said the high was 55. Then I looked at the forecast and it said high of like 69.
I forgot to mention, I think one time they closed an hour or two early because it was cold and uncrowded.
I was surprised how many people actually went into HH on Monday. There were never lines, but still there were plenty of people. I think they closed around 6 because we noticed it was definitely not open after 6.
