I really couldn't find anything quite like this topic when I did a search, so here it goes.
I really cant believe that parking is 25 dollars or 15 dollars for the "value" lots. This is really outrageous...and 70 dollars for season parking? Thats outrageous.
So where do you guys park off site? Some of you guys have to have some pretty sweet off site parking secrets! (aka somewhere you wont get towed.)
That is why I don't drive to the park because in my family 25 dollars for parking in the front (is a bit expensive) and 15 in the back(which I could do) is just not worth it, and with gas at the price it is right now, I rather take the 4 dollar pace bus.
DON'T park off sight at any stores or buildings! A friend of mine works at a store near the burger king across from great america, and if there is a car parked for more than two hours they call McClures towing in gurnee. that goes for everywhere too. Even the hotels in the area. they give you a little pass or paper you hang in your car, and a worker comes and checks the hotelk parking lot. my advice (like said before is GET A PARKING PASS if you go many times a year), or use a bus, or bike, or walk
You have to be kidding that $25 isn't bad for the front lot, that is ridiculous. I will never pay $25 to park at a theme park. Six Flags has the highest parking I've seen at a theme park, even Disney is cheaper with $12 to park for a day, that is good at all their parks.
