So here's the glitch: my friend bought her season pass at Jewel while I bought mine online. Today I recieved a e-mail that told me I can bring a friend on opening weekend (and other days in April) for only 20 bucks. My friend has not recieved that e-mail, since I believe, she never would've given anyone her e-mail address, buying the pass at a store rather then online. So. If I were to print out the e-mail twice, do you guys think it would work? I know I'm not doing anything dishonest, because my friend paid just as much as me, and we each want to take two brothers that we are friends with. Thank you so much. :o)
"For whether you eat, drink, and whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." 1st Corinthians 10:31
I don't think it would be a problem. Most places will take it like that. Like when i went to the Shedd Aquarium and we didn't have a coupon for half off we just used the same one from somebody else a second time.
And too bad that you cant go on opening day!
"The rides are GREAT, The shows are GREAT, the fun is GREAT. At Marriott"s GREAT AMERICA!"
I don't think you'll actually need that email opening weekend. Will probably be just show your pass and get a friend in for $20. Bring it anyways, but everyone there should know about it, if not bring it to GR and explain the problem and I'm sure they will take care if it for you and your friend in no time.

I think they would get better business if the price was free. The question is how low can they go? They might as well let people in free as the rides and employees don't cost anything to run. Why not? Obviously, they are going to make $40 off of each person on food, games, and lockers anyway so why have admission. That was sarcasm in case you didn't know.
I have no idea what they are doing with charging $19.99. That is now cheaper than going to a carnival for 4 hours for unlimited rides. It just makes no sense. If people don't spend on stuff in the park like they plan, they are going to automatically lose money no matter if the crowds are high. I said about how they have got cash flow positive, and just on Screamscape, they are are partening with some video game Freaky Creatures. That is were a lot of the money is coming from (sponsorships) to not be negative along with what I said before such as - rides, -shows, +lockers, +parking price, +discounts on merchandise to get people buying it, and so forth.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Word-of-mouth on the cheap prices will drive more people inside the park and most people don't go to the park for the whole day and don't buy anything. Food, drinks, flash passes, $5-$10 gifts, etc. usually get bought no matter what. Fact is, though, I do agree a lot of people will have no clue the park is open unless they drive by or happen to look it up online or through friends. When you open THIS early, marketing needs to let people know the park is open earlier than ever before. Then again, people probably prefer to go when the weather is a bit warmer 60's+ and it gets closer to schools going out for summer.
Ok, sorry to bring back an old topic, but I just called six flags, and I found out that you DO need the email for this price to be honored. Just an FYI.
Also, I never got the email either, so if anyone would be willing to send one to me, I'd appreciate it greatly
