It seems like every time that i go to sfgam one of my contacts fall out and i need to go to the bathroom to put it back in. It gets annoying....they dont have any mirrors! Why?

My guess is to reduce the whole grafitti/vandalism thing....many stores that have bathrooms in them (in malls for example) also don't have mirrors. I'd imagine it would be expensive to constantly replace mirrors.

My suggestion would be to go to first aid and explain you need to put a contact back in because those bathrooms have mirrors. Just make sure you have contact solution, as I remember going to first aid once and that was like the one thing they didn't have on hand.

I remember seeing mirrors in the county fair bathrooms over by Farmers Market. And if you want to risk loosig snity there might be some in the Wiggles World family bathrooms.

The one reason I don't wear contacts to amusement parks. I'm always worried about losing them on rides or something getting into my eye while on one of the rides. I just wear my glasses and only have to worry about not breaking them when they are stuck between me and a ride harness.

People stand in front of the sinks for too long admiring themselves (especially women) if there are mirrors. Taking away the mirrors reduces lines at the sinks. I don't know if that is actually why Great America does not have mirrors in front of the sinks, but it holds true nonetheless. I heard that the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort do not have mirrors in front of the sinks for that reason.

If you have something on your face due to food or whatever it sucks UNLESS you carry around one of those small compact mirrors you see at convenience stores...and no they aren't just for women...It does make the park look cheap to have those empty walls and nothing but "Your AD here!" by the urinals (wtf?)

Breakage, vandalism and for a while they were trying to use those polished chrome things that gave you a distorted view. Gee that's sad.

If it's important and urgent enough, go into a shop and use a souvenier mirror.

It's most likely due to the disrespectful people who think it's fun to vandalize and break the public mirrors. Because of these acts, the park has to take safety precautions so no one is harmed. It's really sad because when regular genuinelly nice people need to fix their contacts they are unconciously punished because the rude people ruin privledges for the rest of us. I suggest you take a small pocket mirror, use your blank cell phone screen, or use a souvenir mirror, lol.

Hi guys,

This is pretty ridiculous & you know it's all of those people vandalizing the park. It's sad, but I guess anyone who needs one is gonna have to bring there own small mirror.
