today when I went past it looked like there was something else there! it looked like it was either red or it was rusty  I'll try to get a picture tomorrow and edit it in this post so we can all get a better view. also would this have anything to do with it being closed for almost all of the fright fest season? :?:

The black lift hill to me looks like a shadow, and the whole white thing just looks like dust particles. Digital cameras have a way of messing that kind of thing up.

So it's probably just a trick of the light.

I remember hearing it had so much downtime during Fright Fest because of the Lift Hill Motor.... :?

Who knows.

well the lift hill motor is at the bottom of the lift hill, basically almost inside the station.

I personally think that pic is a product of shadows, however if it looks red and rusty, they could have been doing some welding on the lift hill perhaps, I don't know what SFGAm uses, but a lot of primers are red, almost a rust color. Generally after you weld you spray it with primer so it doesn't oxidize and you can paint it up a lot better. I would think for the most part lift hill track wouldn't be under enough stress to really be subject to major cracking, but I guess you never know.

I think its teh shadow too. Just where the sun it creatiogn it from the other side of the spine. You can see it happengin in a few other places on the track too. And the thing at teh top of the lift is teh Emergency car I think. Just for maintenence or something. Well thats just my 2 cents.
