I was at SFGAm Sat and noticed that certain things were discounted heavily, and I think it's a trend that will continue though fright fest to get rid of some old stock. Here are 2 deals I took advantage of

Attitudes in county fair, all Simpsons Merchandise is 50% off the lowest marked price, I got a dart board (with 3 darts included) for $5, with simpsons characters all over it, it's a little old (from 2000) but it' is really cool, and they had plenty on the shelf. Also they had a wide assortment of other Simpsons stuff I really didn't look though, but there really is alot of stuff they really want to get rid of fast.

and in the Candy store in Hometown, while they haven't started discounting everything yet, there is a rack with selected candies that is 50% off, and one of them is half pound bags of reeses pieces, ended up costing me $1.68 for the half pound, and in case anyone is wondering, they had a 2009 expiration date and were quite fresh.

So I was thinking in case anyone comes across other awesome bargains at SFGAm, maybe post them here and let everyone know. Especially exactly when food/candy gets it's annual markdown.

How much of the merchandise from the past season (s) gets carried over to the next? Does any of it stay in the shops during the off-season? Or is it removed/stored away like with the foods shops?

$5.99 souvenir cups, and no the season pass coupon does not work on it, my friend tried.

How about churros and stuff like fires? Would those be discounted too? Or is it only merchandise

I remember seeing all Wiggles stuff was 20% off at the shack in Wiggles World and the Six Flags-oply was marked down to 13.98 I think from somewhere near 30 at the Carousel Plaza Gifts

Saw last night Sport Quarts are now $3.99 with 99 cent refills. Seems they are overstocked with dated materials

Nah, park was the usual that you'd see in any other TR on the board. I usually only do TR's for parks other than SFGAm or when something really different or unusual happens, I should be doing a SFStL one sooner or later from last weekend.
