Is it drained for the winter? The line for RR sometimes is as long as SUF and the whole thing goes by sooo fast just like Superman. If you don't get wet, though, it is pointless to go.
I wish there was a photo cause it is pretty long and without any water I bet it looks really cool. They should give tours of the park during off-season I would pay big money to see how different it all looks.
Roaring Rapids is drained daily as far as the trough goes. Pool at the bottom I would assume is drained annually with the freezing temps in the winter. Especially this year it seems, winter just wont end

I sure know that I'd pay for that. But back on topic, I'm sure they do drain it because like this year, it would all freeze. And then what about the pipes (if they didn't drain it)? Wouldn't they like break?
Let's see... 12 days til colonoscopy (appt got moved :D ) No school today :D

If they do give winter tours....i would LOVE to ice skate along roaring rapids! And all of the pools get drained in the winter, everywhere, for obvious reasons of freezing/damaging.
