What were some of the names of the kids sections starting in 1976?
i remember fort fun, bugs bunny land, looney tunes national park, camp cartoon network
but what were some of the old names back in the day?
was fort fun bugs bunny land ?was it just a name change or what and when did looney tunes national park turn to bugs bunny national park?what year?and was there a bugs bunny yukon adventure name too?
if someone can make a timeline i really appreciate it very much of the themed names from year and when they changed the names and what rides were in the kiddie areas?thank you very much i appreciate it.
What is currently known as Bugs Bunny National Park started as Fort Fun, Changed to Bugs Bunny Land, Then Looney Tunes National Park in 1999, and Bugs Bunny National Park in 2006. Camp Cartoon Network was new for 1999. The Hometown Park was always Known as Hometown Park. And So far Wiggles World has only been known as wiggles world...although I fully expect that to change within a decade.
fort fun opened in 1977
the fort fun name remained from 1977-1985
fort fun changed the name in
1986 to bugs bunny land
the bugs bunny land names remained from 1986-1994
bugs bunny land name changed in
1995 to bugs bunny's yukon adventure
bugs bunny's yukon adventure remained from 1995-1997
bugs bunny's yukon adventure name changed in
1998 to looney tunes national park
looney tunes national park remained from 1998-2005
NOW ITS -bugs bunny national park 2006-?
im not that sure but when did they change it from
looney tunes national park to bugs bunny national park???
any ideas...
as of 2007
we have 3 kids areas
1.CAMP CARTOON NETWORK 1998-2007
2.BUGS BUNNY NATIONAL PARK 2006-?
3.WIGGLE'S WORLD-2007 GRAND OPENING!!!
4.THOMAS AND FRIENDS I HEAR ON SIX FLAGS.COM MAYBE FOR 2007/2008 WE WILL SEE
if it is true that trailblazer is gone?can that be the new thomas the tank kiddie area in 2008?
or if we look hard enough on the park map for 2006 can that land that trailblazer is on can that be a piece for a new coaster like raging bulls u turn out over viper que lines this coaster will start will whizzer is and go into southwest territory and come back towards whizzers land???
just my guess looking at it just look and see on the map would be nice...
we can be looking at 4 kids areas by the end of this 2007 season
if not this year maybe 2008 ?we will see
If you read my post you'd notice that one of your above questions is already answered. And Trailblazer is not gone yet, even if it was, they wouldn't put a kids area there.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
Second. There's an album right here on the site. Upload the picture to the album by following the helpful instructions I'm sure it gives. Then once posted there will be a code displayed, paste that code into a post and your golden.
Just a question for hulk1999, in your post you stated that Camp Cartoon Network was open from 1998-2007 and Bugs Bunny National Park was from 2006-? Is the fact that the question mark wasn't used in Camp Cartoon Network's date implying that you think this will be it's last year? Or just a systems error
And as for Thomas, if Shapiro knew what was good for him, he wouldn't put it in Trailblazer's spot! Nothing about Thomas has anything to do with the theme of the area and that would piss me off VERY MUCH if it was placed there.

How could you possibly fit a whole kiddie area in Trailblazer's spot? You could make a play area with slides and the like but probably not more that one actual ride in there.

I believe it to be very possible! By building a simple retaining wall next to the train tracks, demolishing the half building that Trailblazer currently stands in, and using the wide open area between the building now and the bridge under the train, you can easily build a decent sized children's area. However, I wouldn't encourage that lack of theming. But at the same time, with Hometown Park gone, that area drastically needs a children's area, so maybe a nice Southwest Territory themed play area would do. Possibly a fort like the one in Tom Sawyer Island at Disney!
