Necropolis Rumor

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I heard a rumor that Necro will be extended for 07.

What is said to be done is that they will take down a section of the mesh fence (near the entrance to the maus) and make an optional extended path by putting down wood chips and dirt through that foresty area. When you reach the end, you will join the exit line of Blood River. I guess it will be scarier than the regular part and only be open at night.

I'd doubt it as the path would get too close to the railroad tracks and it has to cross the maintenance corridor which is used during Fright Fest. Also to get to the blood river exit they have to either cross into the station somehow or build stairs or something because it is elevated.

I think the most expansion is happening in the Hurricane Harbor sections that will be used.

They could use Roaring Rapids for a haunted walk through like Cedar Point does. That would be pretty cool.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

No.
Obviously things can change as evidenced by the cutting down of....well...everything in september of last year. But, as of now there are no plans for such. Like RBF said, if anything big is happening, it's happening with the new HH Scare Zone.

Great idea, but they might have a heck of a time trying to block the line so they can't see most of it before they enter. That's the problem with the line running so close to the river itself. Or were we not thinking of walking in the river itself (without water of course)? It wouldn't be the first time i misread something
