How do you spend your day?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

For years all I did was ride the roller coasters and neglect almost all the flat rides. Today, being incredibly fussy, I didn't want to wait in the lines that were forming for the coasters (shame on me, they were still at most 30 min lines) so I rode mostly flats, revisiting many from my junior years. I also spent time play some arcade games (almost got me a watch). I realized going to the park is about having fun (duh) and that there are many things other than coasters which are fun.

How do you have fun at the park?

When I go, it's always fun because I only go 2-3 times a year(not this year though, i'm going to go about 20-30 times.) so it is always fun. I usually just find anything that has a short line, ride it and find the next short line.

I used to neglect the flat rides too until I decided to ride every ride in the park. Now I go on them a lot. I love the summer because of HH.

As I indulged in some games yesterday, what do you think the chance is of winning a PSP (the sliding game with the key that unlocks the box) is if I put down $5?

I'd say your chances are pretty slim, dude. I've been trying to win a pink carebear for the last five years now. But seriously, if you're good at that kind of thing, why not give it a shot? If you lose, you can just make it back by going to the boat. Good luck.

I used to like just riding the Whizzer and the flats, then i got into coasters, but lately it has been more fun trying to ride all the flats all over again. I also have fun by doing something new each time. Whether it is a new slide at HH, meeting someone while in line, bungy jumping, anything out of the ordinary. That's how i have fun!

Flats are a good idea and their lines go faster than coaster Orbits fun. Try watching the shows too their fun to watch and spending a day at HH is fun too unless you have too wait in line just to get in. Ride the water rides on hot days. Theres more to GA than coasters so I try everything the park offers thats how I have fun.

I start out with Whizzer and loop around the park from there. I just ride whatever rides I feel like going on that day as I walk past them. That way, ther's a good combo of flats and coasters. :)

I did not post that. It was an imposter.

Anyway, the way I have fun isn't just the rides. It's the atmosphere. It's the good times with my friends. We have had alot of good times just being crazy and having fun long talks and stuff. It's great. :D

I always used to neglect the flat rides, I still do in some sense. Every day after lunch I will ride sky trek tower. Other than that, I have no set path through the park or ride order. I'll ride whatever I really feel like riding at the time.

How can you miss the flats? SFGAm has some good ones such as Big Easy Balloons, Sky Trek Tower, Roaring Rapids (if you call it one), Space Shuttle America, Hometown Fun Machine, Condor, Ricochet, Chubasco, Fiddler's Fling, Rue Le Dodge (One of the most crowded flats in the park.), and The Orbit. Triple Play is deceased until next year.

So, I do more than just ride the coasters all day. Why not? There are so many rides to ride so why not ride them. As Aero said, usually right when I come back from lunch break, I do go on Sky Trek Tower, and then I go on whatever I feel like.
