Chain drop.

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

During FF and the spring season they have the chain drop at the bridge. During the summer you can go right up near Deja Vu. When do they start letting guests into most of the park at 9:30 instead of having the chain drop at the bridges?

Actually, yesterday (Sunday) they held everyone in Carousel Plaza rather than letting them go to the bridges. I don't know what they've done the other operating days so far this season.

They didn't let anyone past there until the 10am character show in front of the carousel is done.

Maybe, they changed it this year, and it's not going to be like that anymore.

I really hope they let us go up more. Opening weekend they made us wait by the Carousel and that was not a fun run to any ride.

It appears that they will be forcing everyone to stay into Caracal Plaza for now on. The show in the Front now starts at 9:50. I believe this is to get people to watch the show because many people do not know that there is a show that goes on their. I don’t know how well this will work during the Busy Peak Season. But we will see.

I think they will continue this until the waterpark opens because they have the games up to Hurricane Harbor. Cause in the midst of the summer, it will get jammed back there, they will have to do something about it. It has been like that everytime they have been open thus far, so we will have to wait and see.

Who needs running? You should try jetpacking, like I do.

Running is pointless on empty days..You have the same line walking than you do running at most rides.

I walked to Raging Bull today and got second dispatch, row 9 and I could have gotten first dispatch on a different row. A lot of people seemed to be running for it, maybe they coudln't find it or made a wrong turn or something.

When I was there Sunday, a bunch of people ran towards Deja Vu, which clearly wasn't open because it was on the ride closed sign.
