First time getting a season pass questions

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Alrighty, so for my birthday, my parents gave me money to buy a season pass, and i am going on opening day. I was wondering what is the best way to get my pass. Here are my options: A) get a ticket at the park, and get my pass on the way out (i think you can do that), B) get a ticket for $38 from a local bank, and get my pass on the way out, or C) just get my pass at the beginning? Also, about how long does it take to get your pass, do i fill out a sheet, get my pic, and that is it, or what? Thanks for all the help, and i cant wait for opening day! ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT!

On the little ticket thing u get that give u your pass there is a bottom part that they rip off that gets u in for "free" that day. You only have one day to get your pass. Then go to PASS PROCESSING center ewhich is right next to Triple Play. It only takes about 5 minutes or less to get it precessed (if you have all the back filled out before hand)
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Yeah, fill out your stuff at the beginning so you don't have to pay to get in. It's dated and stuff so you have to go take your picture that same day! It's really fast, just look cute when they say "Smile for Bugs Bunny!" or whatever else they like to say. Heh, that's what they said to me.

Just be aware that pass processing doesn't open right when the park does. Hopefully on "opening weekend" they'll have the thing staffed at park open but you never know. From a customer service standpoint, which they're hoping to improve, it's a necessity in my opinion.

The Question being asked is

Should they Buy a season pass a head of time for $97

or just buy a 1 DAY TICKET!!! and then upgrade that ticket to a season pass sometime before leaving the park that day.

i'd just buy it at the park, since it's so late, and the park opens in four days. who knows if your voucher will get there in time.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Ok, so buy my ticket now for cheap at the bank, get into the park, then upgrade at some point during my visit?

I dont want to sound like a jerk or anything, but why is this such a major decision?

Its easy, go to Jewel-Osco and buy your season pass, then get it processed.

Simple.

No, i dont think you sound like a jerk, but i live in rural Illinois, about 95 miles away from Gam and there is not Jewel-Osco, so that is not an option for me, sorry, so this is what i am going to do, and tell me if it will work, get a ticket for $38 from the bank, then before i leave my park, upgrade to a pass, ok?

I dont know if you could do these but maybe you could go to their ticket center before you go in the park and buy it there and then theyll hand you a print out you can use to go in the park and get it process and buy your parking passes too if your going to the park a lot that way you wont have to keep paying $15 per parking which youll probably have to pay if your buying the pass at the park. If not theres a Jewel Osco just like what Galvan said in Gurnee somewhere near Best Buy and Grand Avenue maybe you could just buy it there and then head to the park.
