2006 Parking Prices

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby sfgam on March 23rd, 2006, 8:59 pm
I was deciding whether to, or not buy a parking pass this year. $60 is a lot of money. What were the parking (pass and daily) prices last year, and what do you think they will be this year. Thank you.

Wow they went up that much! I bought mine a month or so back and for a four pack of passes I only paid $23.25 for each one! Yes for SFGAm, online also.

That is a lot, I got mine for $40, but daily parking was raised to $15. Parking passes usually are 4 visits of parking, so if they raised the daily prices, it is only reasonable to raise the pass prices too.

If Six Flags ain't already charge enough to park and to buy a ticket and that's what $75 right there for one person plus parking oh yeah add Gasoline if gas don't shoot up to $3 a gallon which it will. Too much money to spend on a trip to six flags, that's what i'm saying. I can see 5 years down it will cost $60 a ticket.

I ordered mine the end of January and it was only $40.

Three visits to the park and you are already saving money. I'll tell you one thing the year that I went 53 times... yeah it saved me ALLOT of money. Even last year I went 20+ times and saved me $160! So it depends on how often you go to the park.

This may be a stupid question, but how do you buy your parking pass online? I've looked on the six flags site, and I can't find anything.

When you buy your pass, just enter in if you want a parking pass or not. It's that simple.

It was with the season passes, but you don't have to order a season pass to order the parking pass! I just ordered my parking passes to put on my SFMM season pass! Sucks I paid $13.00 for them to ship a peice of paper!

Man this is turning into a lot of money. I bought my SF pass at SFMM already, but I still need to buy my Cedar Fair season pass AND this $60 parking fee now. Oh well I'll manage, lol.

Oh yeah, the agony of rising gasoline and diesel prices and I'm surprised if our country would be broke in the next five years because of this.

Are you sure that is gonna work?

The parking pass is just a small sticker and I don't think the lot attendent is gonna know its from SFGAm not SFMM.

I'd be carefull, I think this topic has come up before.

It will work. I called SFGAM about this issue just a couple of months ago. The employee told me the parking pass are different for each park and the gate attendants know which one is for SFGAM. He also said that the sticker can be fixed to any picture ID, like a Driver License. I will be buying my pass in SFStL this year and will put the SFGAM parking pass on that SP.

If the price matters to you why don't you buy your season pass at SFSTL instead. They have a much better deal.

What is the daily parking for the 2006 parking :?:

We Know season parking is $60 :!:

other parks in the chain are charging $15
My Idea is $15 front Lot and $10 for the Back Lot.
Walking it good for you!
when: Busy days more than 50% lot in used.
Also, Wasintion St. Exit should be open with big signs says express exit, just like gurnee mills mall has posted up 8)

Trams are goog idea be lide like WDW
