^ So what, the fact is they can't communicate normally. Using your logic, not being able to walk is not a handicap because we have wheel chairs, ramps and elevators

And walk. ;)

No, really, I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not because you added the .

Normal is what the average person in society can achieve. If your hearing level or pulse is below normal, then it's less than the average person. If your hearing or pulse or height or weight or whatever you want to measure is above normal, then it's above the average person.

Well, sitting at a computer arguing with a stranger is generally considered not normal.

Like I already said, I'm not debating whether or not a person hard of hearing can easily get through life. I'm debating whether or not the person hard of hearing is the normal, or average, person. And the average person can hear just fine, so clearly the hard of hearing are abnormal in that respect.

Maybe, but not handicaped. That was my argument. I think that right now we are just doing this for the sake of it. Pshh I guess i like arguing.

Thank You again, twixmix, you've just ruined ANOTHER topic!

But for the whole argument, I see it not as a handicap, because I'm deaf in my left ear. I can hear fine out of my right ear, so I'm ok there. Obviously total deafness IS a handicap, but is it a reason to fight in a topic about?

Twixmix, please learn to use your PM button when you don't agree with someone.

Thank You again, coasterdude, you've just been an A** again!

coasterinsane wrote:Okay, i have time. Explain to me why its a handicap O brilliant one.

It takes two to tango, stop blaming this one (and everything else) on me.

And I love how you just used your PM button to make sure that what you have to stay doesn't keep this topic from going off-topic...not.

Score, more of the concerts and shows are up now. They still don't know who is going to be at the Radio Disney thing though in July :? . It's Family Fright Fest. Manny B will still be there.

I can't wait to see the Pictorium this year. Marvian the Marsian is going to be in 3D. Mercy Me is going to be the Christian band. A new Bugs Bunny show hopefully will be better than the last one. I don't see any events for the SWTA though. I'm guessing Grand Music Hall will have the impersenators singing. :(

I took them long enough.

# Great America Idol
Mardi Gras Stage in Mardi Gras
BE THE STAR! Showcase your vocal talent by singing your favorite musical selection on stage for our guests.

So I guess that will put the other recording studio practically out of business. It also means I'm probably going to hear more terrible voices all the time. But who knows, it could be fun maybe I'll try it sometime.

These shows sound like they have quite a bit of potiential, I hope they turn out like I hope they will.

^Great America Idol sounds interesting but I hope there are better people singing than what was at Mardi Gras Recording Studio. Waiting in line at KC and hearing some of those people almost made my ears bleed because they were so bad. :(

Glad to see that Manny B is back also. Looks they're moving back to the Market Stage. I always thought that was a better venue for them anyway.

I like some of the things. I thought for sure that they would still keep the scary fright fest since it was SO successful last year so that kind of disappointed me. My first and only fright fest was last year.

As far as the disney channel thing, my guess for the performers is Hannah Montana and Raven always seems to barge her way on in.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(
