I don't remember the CF bridge being closed back in 2001. Why was it closed? It looks like they pushed Turbo Bungy on the bridge too.

I kind of remember that. Wasn't it because of Vu?

Aw, Shocky's in the background.

I do remember that. Does anyone remember the little walkway in front of sky whirl with the cage thing over it?

The facts are true. They were doing supports on D Vu' and didn't want to people to walk through that bridge. So, all the people had to walk through Southwest Territory. They must have opened it late in the season that year because D Vu' had opened in October

I remember them only having that for one year. I don't remember exactly what year, all I remember is that the next year, they opened the bridge and moved Turbo Bungy into the former Hometown Park where it is now. I thought, though, that it was in 2002 not 2001 but i could be wrong.

The bridge was closed all of 2001 even after Deja Vu opened. Some people believe it was due to the construction, but I don't buy into that theory. Only the bridge itself was closed, Demon was open, even Great America Hot Dog was open. :?

Was really fun running to Deja Vu during Fright Fest because a lot of people didn't know the bridge was closed so they'd sprint and I'd pass them by TrailBlazer when they were out of breath

The vine-covered walkway. I remember that thing so much. It was always my family's meeting spot until they tore it down for DejaVu Games. :(

Jim Wintrodes exact words were "The Bridge is closed cause people had trouble finding Southwest Territory"

Obviously a load, but I think it was a failed attempt at making the park a single loop again that failed horribly, esepcially when they found out it took tripple the time for First Aid to get to Demon :)

^And it made the area look tacky as well. It's good that they got rid of it.

Great America was layed out as one continuous loop when it originally opened. South west territory was added later. Now it it has the original circle with a loop off to the side.
