Here are the answers, as I know them. (1) There are no single rider lines on DejaVu, nor any other coaster at the park. (2) Season Passes are honored at all turnstiles, but during 2005 Fright Fest, the turnstiles nearest Guest Relations were set aside for season passes only. (3) The park does not utilize a q-bot system, unless they are adding it this year, which I doubt. I have been going to the park every year since it opened. I hope you enjoy our park!
We should all remember to be thankful to have a world-class theme park like Six Flags Great America here in our local area!
Well if my 10 trips last season mean I love the park, then I do.
The only reason I asked the q-bot question was because SFSTL had it, and I just thought that SFGAM might have it like the other major parks. The other questions were just ones other parks have, and I just wanted to know if SFGAM had things I didn't know about.
Can this topic be locked now since I made myself look stupid.
They use it at Universal, it makes a lot of sense. Basically, you just go up the exit and enter where guests with ride accessability passes do. Right now, I as soon as I get into the station if I'm by myself, I just look around for a single rider or group of 2 or 3 and ask to sit next to him/her/them.
Viper should have Fastlane for this season. Which reminds me...I wonder if the new fastlane system will be up and running.

What is the point of that system? All it did last year was track riders and transmit it to management (wirelessly utilizing a LinkSys access point). I thought it was going to use electronic cards but I guess not. Why invest in a complex system like this rather than just use a handheld mechanical counter?
Q-bot is like Disney's FastPass but it is an electronic handheld thing you take from ride to ride to get a time to come back rather than receiving a ticket. They also charge like $25 to use it for the day. The more people in your group, the more a handheld costs (you get one handheld for the whole group, up to 4 people.)

Well I had heard it was temporary for the counter but for the future you would have a device which was like the q bot and is automatic so it tracks how many people go thru without a ride op pushing a button 700 times. And it would also be used for new fastlane tickets/cards somehow..idk

I don't understand why they have to make things so complicated. Disney's fastpass works so well, why not use that. It is fair, free, and effective.
Also, if they were to start using single rider lines, i would install them on rides by B&M and giant drop first. Rides with 4 people in a row are the ones that need it the most.

^Yup. That makes sense. As I said before, single ride line would be great for me. I do it at test Track at WDW all of the time and get on in 5 minutes.
I couldnt see SF making a fastapass type system for free though. They would charge something.

And i can get fastlanes without tickets!

I rode 17 times in approx 10 minutes using 2 tickets during a 75 minute stand by.

I have to comment that Test Track is a great ride but doesn't compare to the old World of Motion. That ride was more educational and from what I heard they were gonna just add the speed track around the building instead of gut the whole shebang. Oh well, that's life.
Maybe Mission: Space will be different. I never went on it before.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
Mission: Space was a letdown for me. You're completely enclosed in a little pod with three people spinning around, but since you're enclosed, you can't really tell that you're spinning. You can feel that you're being pressed against the seat a little, but that's all. The entire time you're just watching this little screen in front of you, with a storyline similar to the old Space Shuttle America except you're going to Mars instead of the Moon. Test Track is much better.
^I thought it was great! It wasn't a huge deal like everyone made it out to be, but it was still good. The lift off, loss of gravity, and slingshot around the moon were great sensations and for a motion simulator it was phenomenal. The part that got me though, is that you are each assigned a role and throughout the ride, you have to push certain buttons to complete the mission. It was interactive, fun, and not too forceful. I don't see how you didn't like it.

It is overrated..Its fun though, I rode in August with an imagineer heh. But Its dumb how they spend so much money on that ride when all it does is spin super-dooper fast . I also love how lines get VERY long during the day when at night the lines are short. Last time i rode, again, during the day the line was full, and outside and around the side of the building. That night i marathoned with no wait.

If you dont, the ride does it for you
