Iron Wolf Repaint

Now that they announced the tornado, when will they announce the new colors of IW?

I really doubt IW would get new colouring. Even so, they don't announce paintings, touch ups, or refurbishments.

And BTR is NOT getting new paint.

I missed the morning half of Convention so what I've heard from someone who was there is that American Eagle will continue to be retracked as usual and painted. Iron Wolf will not be painted.

If they were to paint IW I would suggest holding off on it until they go back and repaint B:TR back to it's original color. I still can't stand it being yellow.

Well at NCC, Sivart said they would continue painting AE each year, and it's never really going to be done being worked on.

He didn't mention anything specific to Iron Wolf, but he said they have a strong space in their paint budget.

When you say retracked as usual, does that mean that they do that every off-season?

I like Batman's colors. It just looks so new now and really stands out.

Theyve been retracking AE for the past 5 years or so. I cant remember.

I really like Magic Mountain's B:TR color scheme. It doesn't stand out too much and doesn't look like a carnival ride.

yea that does look cool, but i dont think they're gonna repaint batman, but if they did those would be some cool colors.

It may be hard to imagin Iron Wolf in any other color, Look at Batman, i thought it was just fine black and then they up and change it yellow. was it to match V2? which was also in the area?

No, they painted Batman yellow becaue SFGAm wanted the park to look more "family oriented", so they changed Batman to a lighter colour.

I have now heard rumours abou Whizzer, Demon, Superman, BTR, IW, AE, V2, and Viper being repainted. AE is the only one that will definatley get new paint.

I don't really think that Viper needs a new coat of pain, nor BTR. I mean, I don't know what your source is, but they seem unreliable.

I like the paint job on SFNO's Batman better.

ehh...the only problem with that is it would draw attention to itself too much, especially over the Mardi Gras area. Well, whatever happens, I'm sure it won't be anytime soon. They'd be much better off sprucing up Whizzer or American Eagle before Batman.

Viper's paint has faded a bit, but it's still looking decent. I just hope if Iron Wolf gets her repaint, or any other coaster for that matter, they will do a better job than with BTR where there was yellow paint chips everywhere.

They arent going to repaint BTR for a while now, it was just done, so it wont be redone for maybe 5 more years.
