I just love the new Six Flags management. Look at what they are doing to Six Flags New England park. Look at the yellow towards the top of the page.

If the same thing happens at SFGAm, how do you think this would change your day at the park? Would you still get a season pass, and go as often as you have been or not going? This is completely insane, and another reason why Six Flags, in my opinion is trying to run their parks down. Six Flags prison, I mean Great America coming to a park near you, hopefully not.
I don't see how Six Flags New England is going to benefit from this at all. People just won't go to the park if you can't leave to go out to lunch, or even stay in your hotel room for an hour or so (if you don't live nearby).
If our park changes like this, I would probably just eat alot before I go into the park, so I don't have to go out of it until I leave. The funnel cakes are the only thing I really enjoy.
You can also think about winning prizes at the park. If you win a basketball, or a stuffed animal you can't take it to the car. No one wants to carry those things around all day long with them. So, they might choose not to play any games at all which is not what Six Flags wants. Voice your opinions on the subject if you choose to.
