So theres no way in hell the brakes can fail and it crashes? Well, thats good to know.

Yeah, people who really dont know much about coasters/rides like making up lies.
Chances are better that the entire tower is struck by lightning and falls over than the brakes failing. Unless there is a sudden reversal in Earth's magnetic poles.
