Six Flags Appoints Board to Revamp Parks

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I wonder what will come of this. I also wonder about how they will "Revamp" Great America. Anyway, heres the article:

It said something there about revamping the struggling theme parks. I think Great America was 2nd or 3rd in attendance last year, so maybe they won't "revamp" it.

Will their idea of new guest expierence lure kiddie rides and make Six Flags look like kiddie land ( including scenery )?

^They better do and from what they are reporting in the article it seems like there doing good things for the park now, hopefully like the Marriott days :?

^I hope if they do something that it turns out more like Universal than Disney. I love how Universal gives the same thrills as our park, but adds amazing theming, landscape, and atmosphere. However, I don't think our park will be a main priority of theirs.

^I think it will considering SFGAm is one of the big three with attendance (according to Amusement Business) the same as at SFMM.
