How good is your graphics card? The higher MB it has the better the gameplay will be. Also, when playing, go to options and change the graphics. The graphics wont be terrific, but the gameplay will be quicker. Turning shadows off and other details also helps a lot.

There's your diagnosis right there.

I don't know, i like it. As far as soaked! goes it's really realistic. The only thing i can complain about is that they should have spent more time on the graphics.

Also, msoeagle: When yu finish a coaster, you know that window that has the circle with the station? Just double click on the circle with the picture of the ride and you can ride it. If it doesn't say "double click to ride coaster came" you can't ride it.

I seem to be the only one who likes RCT3. I just need Soaked.

My only disappointment is how you can't walk around in the park and wait in line and stuff. Like how it is in Sim Theme Park.

I have RCT 3 and it runs great on my computer, so smooth. I have it on the highest possible custom settings, the graphics are amazing. I have made 3 parks, and I got all 3 expansions, which Wild has awesome rides in it.

So Wild does have new rides? I wasn't sure. I guess I have to get that as well.

And when I have a lot of rides in my park and no scenery, the game runs slow. That's also annoying.

i like it too, but when i build like 6 coasters it really slows down, and i mean really slows down . . .i can barely construct anything without waiting 5 minutes for it to load up the track . . .

I have a park with 7 coasters and scenery to everything. It has 2 waterfalls and an animal cage. My park's coasters are:
Kingda Ka (hershey launch coaster)
Superman: Kyrptine Escape (flying)
Batman: Last Stand (invert)
Spinning King (spinning mouse)
I3Z4 (frequent faller)
Sleigh Ride (kiddie coaster)
Timber Hawk (wooden)

My park runs very smoothly and never slows, try downloading the patches that fix the glitch when building long coasters, it slows (but that is for Wild and Soaked only)

Yes, Wild does have new rides, it has SWAT, Topple Towers, Splitting Coasters, Extended Coasters, Tilt-a-Whirls, Frequent Fallers, robo-coasters, and more, plus new scenery. I will post some pics of my park too either directly here or in the photo album.

And my personal favorite, The Giant Ferris Wheel.

I think RCT3 is great, and sometimes I get so caught up into it, that before I know it, its 2:00am.
You really just have to figure out what your computers capability is. My lowly E-Machine chugs along just fine with all the expansions, in a regular sandbox park with around 4 coasters, several flats, and around 1500 peeps, but I know I could never have 10 coasters, 20 flats, and 5000 peeps in my park at the same time. My computer could never handle it.

If you have never been over to the Atari Rollercoastertycoon.com forums, I would recommend heading over there, and checking out the exchange forum at some of the great custom scenery that has been made by the community members.

This is by far the best custom set I have seen.

I really want to get the expansion packs now. The new rides in Wild are probably awesome. Which one should I get first? Because I have no clue now which I want to get first. Sadly I have to wait 2 weeks to get one, and another 2 weeks to get the other. Unless I get lucky and win the $1000 contest I entered.

You can be a guest, but you cant control where they go, but you can wait in line as them, you have to put the guest's name as: Johnny Watts. Press esc when you want to exit.

And my lines for my coasters never get long, but one park I have 19 coasters with only 5000+ guests, so that will keep lines short.

Great, thanks. I'll try that in a moment.

And my lines don't get long unless they're right by the entrance. All my guests are within 500 ft of the entrance and a quarter of them are in the back of the park. This happens with every park I build.

Does this happen no matter how long you have your park open?

I did notice one thing though. The longer your park stays open, the peeps will move to the back of the park. My one park that has now reach year 67 had to be opened and closed several times throughout. This is what I did notice. I n the first year, the lines for the rides in front of park were jammed, while the rides in the middle, and back of the park were empty. As I headed into the middle of year 3, The lines for the rides in the front of the park died off, and the lines for the middle rides were packed, while the back of the park stayed empty. As the park hit year 6, the rides in back were full, and the front, and middle of the park were dead.
The peeps just slowly make their way towards the back.
I should note that I do have Soaked, and Wild. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Yep... I've had a park open for at least 9 years. I closed it for some fixing up and re-opened it and now there's barely anyone on the paths, they're all in line or riding rides. But they're mostly near the entrance.

I think it is because you might not have downloaded the patches that where created after the game was first released.
