Rollercoaster Tycoon (Wacky Worlds)

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.

Does anyone have the new expansion of rollercoaster tycoon 2? If anyone has it what are the new scenerios in the game? And also it says there is 50 new rides from around the world. What kinds on new rides are in this game? And also, is it worth buying the game. Is it better than just rollercoastertycoon 2? Thanks for any info you might have for me.

I've played it. Simply put, it sucks, and is worth maybe $2.50. Unless you see it in the bargin bin, don't get it. Scenarios are poorly designed, and nothing is new, just lots of scenery, many of which doesn't fit with RCT's style of graphics.

There are some "new" flats but they are the same as the old ones with different looks. There are also "new" roller coasters but it is really just new trains for the existing types of rides. Some of the scenarios are cool but they are nothing special.

so u guys are saying its not worth spending the 30 bucks to buy it? I wanted to get it for the new rides. they said there is 50 new rides for it. so basiclly they just changed the cars itself and not added anything new really? I was looking at the screen shots of the scenerios. i thought they looked great. But i guess you guys dont think so. Well, i will just have to go to the strore and see what it looks like. I just like to get the upgrade of it. for the new rides. what u think?

Well from what I hear, there are no NEW rides. Just *enhanced* versions of others. Example, the snow cups in RCT2, they have the same ride, with different themes like taxi's, an emerald, etc... As for roller coasters, it is the same type of ride, except with different trains that are really abstract. This is what they call new rides. I think the only *new* ride was the chao's flat, and it looks like it's a copy off the enterprise. I don't think it's worth the money, I wouldn't buy it unless it was on sale for like 10 dollars or something, which I don't see happening.

here's what i heard that all there is some new secenrios, new trains , some flats have new looks, and AWSOME scenery other than that nothin new. I did hear one thing though at the EB games website that they are making a new exp. pack called Rollercoaster Tycoon Exp.2 and the rumors are it is gonna have new coasters such as a strata and hydrolic launched coasters and some other things to and it's supposed to becoming it in october. But when i get WW i am gonna put it on another partition so that way i can make WW parks to show to people with WW, and make regular Rct 2 parks for people without WW and just Rct 2.

There are no "rumors" behind the second expansion pack. Just wish lists, which include what should have been in Wacky Worlds. There is also no Chaos. Just 2 or 3 Enterprises. Basically, the game is crap. The only good part I found was I got a good laugh at the great white shark corkscrew coaster. It looks like the shard is wearing women's lipstick.I also highly doubt that Chris Sawyer had anything to do with this expansion, or the next. Scenario design is not consistant at all with RCT, it's expansions, or RCT2. Paths go right in the park property border, and right on to the edge of the map. Rides are crap in design. One scenario has a halfway cool coaster. 2 stations, 1 high, 1 low. The high to low ride is cool, its a wood coaster with a loop, and lots of twists. Then, from the low to the high station, it's stupid. Lift, flat, lift, turn, lift, turn, lift, or something like that. Both stations have entrances. Who would be dumb enough to design a ride that you can ride up the lift, and thats it? Sawyer never would design a ride so stupid. Lastly, in a south American scenario, it's Carnivale in Rio. So, rather than design paths to keep peeps of confusing streets of "downtown Rio," they can roam anywhere. Guests get lost constantly, and it's such a mess you can't fix it! Sawyer would never design anything so poor. It's sad to see something of such low quality tarnish his hard work.
