can anyone tell me WHY!!!!! RCT 3 will not let me place water. i did what the book said. it said to click were i wanted to the water to go. and IT WONT GO. i tryed lowering the land and then clicking AND NO WATER. i clicked the WATER TOOL and everything and yup, you guessed it NO WATER. What exactly do i do.

P.s. why is the RCT 3 update taking so long

The water in rct 3 is clear and you can't really see it.

I'm having the same problem.
for some reason i cant get water, so dont feel to bad. i just live with the fact that i dont know how. and the book doesnt help. lol

I've never played RCT3, but perhaps your acually creating water, but your videocard cannot render it correctly so it does not show up. I've seen this happen in other fairly recent games like Half Life 2, and FarCry.

The reason you can't see water is your video card. I HAD the same problem. If you look closley, you can see the ripples in the "water". This usualy happens if you have an Intel Video Card, a 128MB video card, or a laptop. There is this thing you can download so you can see the water. Thats what I did. Look in this conversation I had with this person under problems with gaming.

Alright, now that I have RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 I can try and see whats wrong. When I place water I can CLEARLY see where it is, but then again, I have a state of the art graphics card (well, in laptops it is). This has led me to believe that your comptuer can't render the water. Have you tried opening any parks that you KNOW have water in them or played any of the scenarios involving water?
