I'm having a problem with block sections. When I put them in and test, the train usually just sits there. Am I doing something wrong or is it just a glitch?

Be more specific, how many trains are you running when you test it? Is there a span of the track that is not allowing another to pass the block, and registering all the blocks at once?

Running 2 trains. I usually put a block, 4 straight tracks and another block before going into the station and that sometimes works.

If the train is too long it will occupy both blocks at the same time that would cause the trains to stop. I would try shortening the trains.
