(Pictures are from my cell phone since I do not own a camera.)
The next day, we got into the park at around 8:45 am.
We had to wait there by the flamingos for the chain to drop
First thing we do is head to Kraken.
It was closed, but took about 15 minutes to open
Just about to board front row first dispatch
The weird looking Kraken head
Time to ride Journey to Atlantis
Very fun ride, maybe even better than Kraken
Then we went back to ride Kraken back row.
A nice picture of Kraken emerging from the ground
Just don't touch the eggs, there are eels inside them
Then headed to the penguin encounter
Still night time inside
Nice photo towards Kraken over the bay
Wild Arctic motion ride, kinda like Body Wars but better.
This polar bear was sleeping
Shamu Express
Sharks and rays
Inside the shark encounter
The Shamu set
It's Shamu!
The finale
Back to the penguins, it's day now
Then we rode Journey to Atlantis again, which it started to rain as we were on the ride and stopped after we got off.
Then we headed over to the Sea and Otter show
This was a very good show, kinda funny.
Then headed back to Kraken again, and saw this sign, which was funny.
The set to the air and dolphin show, probably the best one there that we saw.
They did this whole weird human bird thing. They had some cool looking birds fly around too.
The finale of the show
A stuffed Shamu
And we leave as we had to catch a flight back and the storms were coming.
Shamu was even at the airport.
Overall, very nice park, the shows were cool. Kraken is slow in the morning, but once it gets going later in the day, it was crazy intense. Journey to Atlantis is a fun little dark ride and coaster. The sky tower is an upcharge attraction at $3 extra to ride, but wasn't even open when we went. I can't wait to return to that place.
That's all for this adventure to the Sea
