SFGAm 9/3/05 V2 REOPENS!!!

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I arrived at Great America at 8:20 after stopping at Burger King to get my 2 Crossantwichs.

It was a interesting morning to say the least. On our way through Hometown Square, Jeff and I noticed V2 testing with someone on it. We figured it would open late so we continued to the County Fair entrance. On the way there, I noticed that the gate by First Aid was open. I thought to my self, "someone is going to go through there to get to Batman". Sure enough, not more than a second later, 4 GP went back there unnoticed. Someone closed the gate a minute later and the GP were eventually found and escorted back to Hometown Square.

10:00 finally comes around and we run to Deja Vu. Probably about 100 GP ran up Deja Vu's exit thinking it was the queue so we got 1st dispatch in 1A. That was the funniest thing I have ever seen at SFGAm. :D

While we were on Deja Vu, Jeff noticed that V2 had opened on time so we went there next. 2 train wait for front. I still hate the ride.

After that we went to Iron Wolf. We walked onto row 6. Then we went over to American Eagle Blue train. Walked onto row 1. While walking through the queue, I took some pictures of the new paint on AEB's storage track and got a pic of the red trains on the ground.

Next stop was Demon, walked onto row 5-2. Good ride but I was starting to get a headache.

After Demon, we went back to Deja Vu and rode 2 more times. Wait was about 10 minutes. Jeff got his 100th ride for this year. Then we headed over to Raging Bull. They were running 2 trains and the line was right outside the station. Good ride but I was a little dizzy at the end. :(

That's pretty much all of the important stuff.

NOTES:
-All rides were 10 minutes or less, most were walk-ons
-Giant Drop was only running 3 cars in the morning
-Left at around 2:45 because I wasn't feeling good :(
-TrailBlazer, Fiddler, AER, and IMS were closed all day.
-Stargate was open part of the day

Pictures from today are on my website. Click the 'WWW'

I was there also on the 3rd. I was on the 2nd ride of the day. Fiddlers Fling was open for a little while.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
