SFGAm...8/28/2005!

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby rich12_16 on August 29th, 2005, 12:58 pm
Ok, so we leave the house at exactly 8:14, and we hit the road, we arrive at GAm at 10:05, and wait to get into the parking lot, to see it half full, but thats ok, it only got to the first few rows of the back lot, and the lot near HH.

We get out of the car, and go to get in, that took up about 2 minutes, so we head straight to Demon, because thats my 7 year old neices favorite ride, no wait, we head back to the Camp Cartoon Network, but I detour and head to American Eagle, great ride, 15 minute wait, only red side running, 2 trains, I meet up with my family in Camp Cartoon Network, and me and my neice head to Loggers Run, great ride, 5 minute wait, we then head to Looney Toons National Park, but I went to ride Batman instead, great 2nd row ride, only 15 minute wait, only the 4 switchbacks were open, and the bat cave, We then go to the front of the park to get something out of the car, and head to Hurricane Harbor, no wait to get in, I go to rent a tube, about a 10 minute wait for that, and then I head to the Lazy River, I go around twice, and head to the Pink/Yellow Atomic Bowl ride, GREAT!!! I went around 4 times, It was awesome, then I chjecked out the wave pool for a minute, and then put my dry clothes back on, I gave some girl my tube/ bracelet and headed into the Dry Park again. I head straight to Deja Vu, it had a 45 minute wait, for row 3b, I sat on the far side towards demon, I forgot which letter it was, But it was awesome, not rough, and great hang time on the first/last lift, as always, the crew was very energet and they even said the famous-there goes the floor, your out the back door, see you back in 1 minute and 24. I then headed to Farmers Marker to Eat, I got the bacon cheeseburger, but was only charged for the cheese burger, and I got some of the yummy sheese fries next door, I forgot to mention that I had some waffle cut cheese fries in Hurricane Harbor, Yumm, the food was ok, but mainly just the cheese fries and waffle cut cheese fries. I get done eating, and head to Iron Wolf, rough ride, gave me a headache, 15 minute wait, due to people holding up the line waiting for front row, I HATE that! I then head over to East River Crawler, my first ride on that ever, As many times as I have been there over the years, I had never ridden that, it was a nice ride. I then go to Batman again, to see only 3 and a half switch backs filled, great ride, 10 minutes, row 8. I head over to SWT and get inline for RB, I see the first queue house full, and I just waited, great row 9 ride, 35 minute wait. I head back over to Deja Vu, and have a great ride in the back row, forgot which number, but I has in the farthest seat back in the back row, next to the air gates, Very energetic crew again, and they really are 100% commited to your playtime! Great ride on back row. I meet up with my family, and we head to Whizzer, to finish up the night, my mom took my 3 year old nephew, I took my 7 year old neice, and my dad rode by himself, Great ride, not a very energetic crew, but the ride was great. we leave about 8:10. We arrive home about midnite, due to accidents, and traffic jams, it would have only been an hour and a half, net trip...FRIGHT FEST!!! Probally October 8th, the first saturday of FRIGHT FEST, as we normally do.

Huh?

I've gotten three rides in a day before on Vu. It's not hard, you just need to have a combo of knowledge and luck.

For example. one day in the summer. I ran to it at opening. Walk-on. Then it rained. I happend to walk by as it opened, walk-on. Then right after the parade, I checked it out again, the line was only in the station so I went again.

It's not that hard. Some people choose not to spend more than 10 minutes at the ride because they hate it.

I've ridden it about a dozen times. It's average at best. Though, the ride is much better when sitting in 8b than anywhere else. I think it's worthy of at least one ride every visit, but I'm not going to waste my time riding it more than once. I'd rather waste my time waiting in lines for RB, Viper, B:TR and IW. 8)
