8/22/05 "Rusty's Last Stand!"

I went with my friend today. we got there about 11:30, and headed to the Demon. waited 2 trains and got on red, row 2. I love that first drop! we headed to subway. when we got back we went over to RB. first we went second to last row, then came back went row 1 for the first time. It's like a different ride! i liked it so much we did it again. then a pair of row 5 rides. my friend got thirsty and hungry so he got a pretzel and a pop well he was in line i decided to robot dance and made whole quarter! we hung out for a while and went over to Superman for a nice last row ride. then finished with a ride on condor. What way to end the summer! that was RUSTY'S LAST STAND! *Old West Music*

I agree, Demon in the last row has one of the best first drops of any ride there. The ejector air is amazing.

I have to agree. Demon's drop looks so un-intimidating.. but it sure does pack some serious airtime. I can't imagine how awesome the airtime hills were on ToTC.

the reason you get such great air on Demon (same reason for Bull's first drop) is that the train already has a good deal of momentum going into the drop.

the lines got bad later in the day. at around AE was in the tent, raging bull wasn't bad (first house), demon's was visable from the road, and S:UF used about 1/3 it's swithbacks.

Yes, I would've loved to go today. Poor Me, i'll be here this Saturday. Hopefully the crowds won't be too bad.
