June 30: Walk on, Superman

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Danhockey04 on July 1st, 2005, 11:23 am
I arrived at the park at 9:00 and waited for the season pass line to open. I was walking into County Fair, when I saw Deja Vu having no train in the station and being stuck up the loop. So I went over to Bull for first dispatch front row.

After Bull, I went to Demon for 2 rides, 1 of them being a solo ride.

Then I saw that the train was released from the brakes on Deja Vu, so I waited for it to open. I got first dispatch front row.

Then I went to AEB because AER was closed for some unknown reason that I do not know about.

Rode Iron Wolf after AEB and took a full cycle on the train.

Then went to eat at Firehouse Pizza, where I ate 2 pieces of pizza.

Then I went on Stargate, we got the gate key, it was my 14th or 15th gate key this year, that ride is becoming a great ride.

Then took a ride on STT, and saw SUF's line, none.

I walked over to SUF and rode it and rode it and rode it over and over.

Then went to a long line at BTR, got on and decided to go back to the short SUF lin, and ride it again 2 more times.

Then headed for Iron Wolf, Raging Bull and Viper, where my girlfriend called to tell me she wasnt going to come after work. :( But I was with other people so I wasnt all that upset, I kind of thought she wasnt going to come.

Then we took out SUF again 2 more times, BTR, and V2, which we got there right when it re-opened from a breakdown, we got front row.

Then we saw that AER was open, so we went on AER for a ride. Then we went over to Deja Vu and as soon as we got in the line, I said I hope it breaks down so everyone leaves. Right after I said that, the ride goes down, and a lot of people left.

Whizzer followed with a rather short line, and STT and Stargate again.

We headed over for 1 more SUF ride. Then finished off the day at BTR for a 5 ride marathon.

Also there today. I saw a Kachunga and the Aligator show. It was good. The end was great. they get this little girl on stage and keep saying things like "She's so pretty...What a shame..."It's corny but fun. Worth seeing before it ends on the 6th. Most things were walk-ons when I was there (Which was kind of late) Sups was a walk-on all day. (3 rides) Viper was also a walk-on. My longest wait the whole day was probably for either Triple Play or Trailblazer. (I'm not kidding)...

I also went today.

I will just add my report here so that I don't have to make another topic.

I got to the park at about 9:45. The first thing that I noticed was that Condor was not on the list for the rides that may not open today.

For the first ride, I got in line for Raging Bull. While in line, I waved to Dan who was coming in on the train I was about to get on. He seemed to ignore me and look at me like I was some kind of maniac. :| Then I went on front row, which was only a 10 minute wait.

We got a quick ride on Giant drop, and then Demon. After we got off, we saw Deja Vu's train between the loop and the second lift. We also saw Dan there, but I didn't really feel like saying hi after what had happened earlier.

Then we hit American Eagle Blue (I noticed Red was closed for some reason) and Iron Wolf.

My friends started to feel motion sick, so they sat down. I said that I wouldn't be able to just sit there on my day at six flags, so I decided to go on Spacelys. I noticed that only teenagers were riding on our train, and the op seemed to think that was pretty funny.

It was getting pretty hot out by now, so we decided to go on Roaring Rapids. I got soaked (obviously), but it was a fun ride.

Next we headed over to V2 to dry off a bit, but we saw that Vu was up and running now. So we left the line to get on Vu. By the time we got there, it was about a 45 minute wait. I got on row 1B, which was a very good ride.

At this point, it was about 12:00, and most of my group said they felt like they were going to throw up. So we decided to get a cup of ice water and just chill out for a while.

We headed to V2 next. When we got up to the station, it broke down. We waited for about 20 minutes and then I got on last row twice.

By now we were starting to get hungry, so we started to head out. On the way, we hit Superman, which was amazingly all the way up to the fast pass entrance. We got back row. After that we went on Sky Trek Tower to wait for the rest of our group, and then we headed to BK for lunch.

We got back at about 3:00, and went on Superman, King Chaos, Giant Drop, and Raging Bull. Then all of my friends left me and went to HH.

I stayed in the theme park and was looking for something to get a mini-marathon on. I went on Raging Bull twice, then decided I wanted to get something with a shorter wait. I headed to American Eagle, which was a 5 minute wait. I was hoping to get in a few re-rides, but there were just enough people in the station that I couldn't hop back on. I also tried Iron Wolf, but the line was to the bottom of the stairs. I went on it once, and decided that it hurt to much to go on a bunch of times in a row. So, I stuck with Raging Bull and went on that 4 more times.

I met back up with my friends, and they wanted to go on the train. The train had just left when we got there, so we decided to get on Whizzer, then come back to the train. While we were on Whizzer, though, the train left again, so we gave it up.

We headed to Viper instead, and it was just about a walk-on for me because people let me skip.

We went on Superman, V2, and Batman, which is when my friends decided we should go over to Deja Vu for the last ride. It was about 9:45 when we got there, so we just sat around and waited. Then we got in line at about 9:50. I ended up getting the last 2 rides of the day on back row. The crew was decent today. They said that because it was the last ride of the day, we would have to chant Deja Vu up the first lift. So, being the dumb guy that I am, I decided to chant it for the whole ride. We tried to do the "lets go again" cheer, but the ops said we would have to come back the next day.

So, overall, it was a good day, except for the fact that Condor still was not open and the sign was still up by the entrance.

Ride Totals:
RB:9
V2:3
BTR:1
AEB:2
IW:2
DV:3
Whizzer:1

SUF:3
Demon:1
Viper:1

I also saw Kachunga and the Alligator show, I forgot to mention that, I saw the 1:00 show. It was really interesting, I liked it. Also, SUF had a very short line for pretty the whole day except the morning.

^Why did you want D Vu' to close? So, did you wait for it to open?

Everyone leaves the line when it closes, and it makes it shorter. I waited, it made my 40 minute wait turn into a 25 minute wait with the down time.
