Okay, so i left my house around eight, and went to get gas. I was on the road by 8:15. Got to the park around 8:50, and waited in the traffic until the gates were opened. I called my friend Krystal, and she said she was saving me a spot. So I pulled in, got out of the car, and almost immediately saw Dan pull up. So we all walked up to the front, and saw Jerome waiting to get in. So we got into the park, Krystal strayed off, and we headed to the new waiting spot right in front of the big county fair arch and waited. We ran to Vu, and i made it fifth or sixth i think, i don't remember. I rode 1a for the first dispatch of the day. After seeing the long line in the vu area, we headed over to giant drop. After giant drop, we headed over to raging bull. We rode in the last row on the red train. Afterwards, we headed over to viper, and rode third row. After Viper, we headed into hurricane harbor. After changing and getting a locker, which we all shared, we went over to ( okay, i don't know the names of each slide, so i'll tell ya the section, and then the color slide.) the family slides, and we went on the purple and orange slide. Since the family ride's water was freezing, we quick jumped in Hurricane Bay and waded there for a few minutes. Next we went over to the atomic slides, and i rode the blue and green atomic slide. After that we went over to Paradise Plunge and Riptide and rode both slides. We went to castaway creek and went around to get over to the wahoo racers, but they weren't open, along with skull island, obiviously. So we went back to hurricane bay and sat in there for a few wave cycles. After that Dan had to leave, and Jerome and I went to put our swim stuff our cars, but lost each other in the process. So I called up Eric (sixflagsguy5) and met up with him and his friend to ride Batman. We then headed to V2 and used our free fastlane tickets, and found Jerome again. I decided afterwards that after everything i've done this weekend (graduation, senior picnic, moving crap) that I was tired and kinda sick. I headed over to try to get on Superman, but it broke down after i had already used my fastlane ticket, so I decided not to wait, and went to see the 2:45 Circo Magnifico show, wasn't too impressed though the lights were cool. Afterwards, I met up with Eric and Jerome and the other guy, and gave them the last of my fastlane tickets and went home. It was a fun day, but at the end, which was around 3:30, i felt like crap, and i smelled, and just needed to spend some time at home. Now come read this so you can see what my day was like!
Notes:
Rides closed: condor, IMS
Crowds weren't too bad, HH wasn't packed.
It was cold in HH, i was freezin!
Hey, Nice trip report (although one large paragraph on widescreen is really tough to follow) doesn't sound like you had your best day there. How warm is the water in the park?
Andways, can you describe in detail about the Circo Magnifico is like? I've never seen any shows at Six Flags besides the iMax or the hyponist and I have pretty high standards (think Disney). Is it worth it? I saw you didn't like it much, but I've seen people rave about it.
It is a chinese acrobat show. They've got lots of lights that flash around, they do a lot of jumping through rings, and swinging from ropes and things with flying above the audience. The costumes were very oriental looking. There's a lot of techno music, and lifting people in the air and stuff. Oh there's also some cool puppet things. I think if you saw the espana extreme, then you'll probably like Circo Magnifico. The set is really cool though, I liked that. Um....I think that's all I can say.
I've just had a really stressful weekend, and if I hadn't done so much this weekend, I probably would have enjoyed the day a little more. I definetly had a lot of fun though, especially at HH. It was a lot more than I expected it to be, but I don't know if I'll be going back there while it's still cool outside. We were cold.
