Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVu The Ride on May 22nd, 2004, 11:21 pm
So I decided to go to the park again, even after a couple of my friends backed out because they were afraid storms would ruin the day. So I arrive to the park at 10:05 and go straight to:

Superman-20minute wait. Best ride I have ever had on it.

Walk through Mardi Gras and see a "This ride will not open" sign at King Chaos. Oh well. No sign of life from it all day or what I could tell. The area looks great and they were also working on Ragin Cajun all day. We went on:

Jesters Wild Ride: Neat little family ride. 3 minute wait. Almost feels like a really small Revolution.

We now went on Batman which had a 15 minute wait. Relly fast and noticed new fog machines in the tunnel by the fan.

Next we went on V2, which had a 15 minute wait and at the time they were not filling the station. 20 minute wait.

We went over to Iron Wolf next, but is was experiencing some downtime. Went to wait outside the entrance and got right in. 5 minutes front row.

We decided to go on Revolution next and enjoyed it. 20 minute wait.

Now we hit American Eagle Forward and Backwards with walk-ons/ Ran great, but it feels like they added a trim brake at the end of the huge helix. Did they? I can't remember if it was there before.

Now we went to the Demon and had a 15 minute wait. It started to drizzle just a bit here. Red and yellow trains.

We noticed Raging Bull was only running 2 trains at the time so we skipped it and went on DejaVu, which ran almost flawlessly today. The station was not being packed and it was only a 30 minute wait. I enjoyed my ride. Next, we took a break for lunch at Farmer's Market.

We headed over to Viper where we waited only 15 minutes for an unpacked station. It ran well and has a new on-ride-photo.
We saw Raging Bull added the red train so we went to take a ride. Waited 25 minutes for back row. Bull was totally forcefull. Oh yeah. So now we went to ride the Whizzer and had a 15 minute wait to an unfilled station. Alright ride but it felt a little rough.

At this time we took on for walk-on rides of Sky Trek Tower and Stargate.
Then we saw the neat Mardi Gras parade with all the floats, trolleys, and the hearse. Got some beads.

This is where we rode tons off flats. All walk-on. Hometown Fun Machine, the Orbit, Trailblazer, Chubasco, River Rocker, Fiddlers Fling, Wghirligig, East River Crawler and Condor. we laso snuck a walk-on ride at the Great America Raceway and a 15 minute wait at Giant Drop.

We also got more rides on Batman, Raging Bull, and Iron Wolf. All around 10 minute waits. Also American Eagle Red for a walk-on.

around 7:30 they tested Raging Cajun a couple of times. It looks like a fun ride. When we started watching other people came by us and watched too. Someone was video taping it too. The brakes all seemed to be there. Big Easy Baloon Ride was right there but it was broken down for a while so we decided not to ride.

It was really a great day with a lot of busses and many cars and full midways, but the lines weren't too long and they all moved fast. The park was perfect and I loved every minute of it. It didn't rain hard or storm once at all.

Just one question. What was the little area of photo proccessors under the big Space Shuttle. I couldn't tell what it was for.

Thanks for reading!

It's at the bottom of one of the bunny hills before the second to last turn around. Somewhere in that area.

I think it's in the gift shop area at the end of the exit.

That's not a added trim, it's been there for years. It's just not on very often.

They told me and my friends last weekend that we had to take a picture before we went on Stargate. But then the picture was literally right infront of the queue line.
