May 2nd report, with pics, and spitting on Superman

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I am not very good with trip reports, so I will make this sort of brief.

What a buetiful day it turned out to be. It sure felt warmer than the 50 degree temps that they were calling for. I want to thank all of you for telling me where to take my daughter to get her hand stamped for over 36".
We started out by letting my daughter meet the Loney Tunes characters before her first, and many trips on Columbia Caraousel. "Its party time", is a nice touch that GA did for this season, but lets see how the Bugs, and the rest of the Loney Tunes characters hold up when the temps hit around 100 degrees.
After that, we took my daughter on her first "thrill ride", the Hometown fun machine. I was surprised to see this ride open. If I can remember last year, the ride was never open. I thought that she woulkd be afraid, but to my surprise, she didn't want to get off.
After HOmestown Fun machine, we just circled the park several times. I can't remember the order of the coasters I went on, so I will sum it up.

Viper - 2
RB - 2
V2 - 3
Batman - 3
Superman - 2

All the coasters were basically walk-ons, with the excemption of RB, and V2, were the wait as only around 10 minutes.

The one big thing I notice was how polite, and nice all of the ride-ops were. I can't remember the last time I heard so many hello's, and hi's, at GA. I also went to tip my hat to all of the employees that worked in the Camp Cartoon Network, and Loney Tunes kids areas. They were the best staff I have ever seen in those areas. Usually thet just don't seem to care, or they don't want to be there, but this Sunday it was the complete opposite. Kudos to them. In general, the entire staff attitude was great.

One other thing that bothered me though. While riding Superman, some people were spitting down at the guests as they were walking though the exit. One girl almost got hit by spit. In my opinoin, they need to but up some cover so people don't get hit by morons who think it is funny to spit on people.

Thats my small, and boring trip report. Now as promised, here is the link to a few pictures I took from Sunday.

I believe thats what the yellow shade pads are used for, sense they have one wherever the track passes over people.

The yellow covers only cover the line where the track crosses directly over. This is to shield guests from the number of items that fall off that ride.

Six Flags shouldn't have to protect people from spit, any normal person would have more common sense than that. There are just a few morons out there (any any of you are a moron if you have ever thrown anything off a ride trying to hit someone).
