Got to the park around 9:45. Went to Batman: The Dark Knight first. Wasnt great, since we were going really slow cause there was only about 8 people on the train. Then went over to SRoS. Amazing. My #1 coaster. The airtime is unbelieveable and the mist tunnel kicks ass. I HATE the damn ankle restraints though. I ripped two buttons off my shorts because of the stupid grey bars on the outside. I then headed over to Flashback. Wow. This thing SUCKS. Head banging is horrible, and Im still trying to figure out what the fun part of the ride is. Knock it down and build a Dippin Dots stand or something. I actually saw it using switchbacks too . O, and I actually heard someone say it is fun . The GP look so enthusiastic after they get off it. Went on Cyclone next. One train op. Roughest coaster I have ever been on. Thing is a torture device in the back row. The coaster needs to go, its way too rough to enjoy. Sometime later in the day I got on the SLC. These things suck too, too rough. Vekoma blows. The double in line twist though was kinda cool because it looks like your feet are going to hit the supports. But it does erase your mind from the headbanging. Thunderbolt was actually better than Cyclone. I thought it was cool. Its from 1941 but nowhere near as rough as Cyclone. Later that day I waited an HOUR for Mr. Six's Pandemonium. I wanted the credit. It was alot better than Ragin' Cajun. Went on Poison Ivy's Tangled Train sometime too, which was a joke. Spaceley's owns it. At least Spaceley's has ejector air and a near blackout helix . Got a ride on Dark Knight later, which kicked ass. Best Zero G Roll I have been on so far. You just float there for a split second. The coaster wasnt as good as Medusa though. Finished off the night with a back row ride on SRoS which was of couse amazing. The mist tunnel was even better at night.
News and Notes- SRoS just owns. Definitely the best coaster I have been on. The only downside is the ankle restraints.
Park wasnt nearly as good as SFGadv and SFGAm. SFNE only had 2 coasters that I really liked alot. Very small park too.
Scream was weak. It was only running space shot mode, and I thought it kinda sucked. Wasnt that tall either.
The NE GP is definitely the worst. So many people think SRoS's drop is straight down its unbelieveable. They also act like Mind Eraser is a great coaster. They think Flashback is fun too.
The ride op on BTDK is horrible. She was wearing a dumbass purple hat, and just slowing down the dispatches. Just STFU and do your job.
Other than the ride op on BTDK, the crews were good. I love how they play music in Cyclones station, makes the wait much better.
Very clean park. Its worth it just to go to ride SRoS. I will miss that ride .

OH SO SUE THEM...just because they don't spend every waking moment of the day on rollercoaster websites doesn't make them bad people. I really hate the coaster enthusiast mentality, I always have. I don't like to associate myself with other coaster enthusiasts. You know what, people don't know everything. Those people are just there to enjoy the ride, big deal. Nowhere does it state that you HAVE to know how many freaking bolts are on a ride before your able to ride it. Also, WHO ARE YOU TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT RIDES ARE GOOD AND BAD? Huh? So what? Someone likes Mind Eraser, OH NO!!!! People like different things and just because they have more of a life than traveling to different parks and ripping apart the locals doesn't mean that their taste in coasters is bad.
I bet you don't know anything about meterologoy. Does that make you a bad person? Maybe I should go post on a meteorology forum and laugh my ass at you because you don't know what CINH is or what geostrophic flow means. You see?
This about this the next time you make fun of the general public. Maybe you can try not to act so snobby and think your better than them. I swear, it's people like you who have perminatly tarnished the ACE name as well as coaster enthusiasts in general.
Wow, thanks for saying that aero! I hate when people say "GP" and act like it's bad. And how people separate themselves from it. I won't classify myself as an enthusiast. I ride the coasters just like any other person. I dont' go crazy and criticize every part of a ride thus making my experience less enjoyable. I just have a great time.
I also don't want to associate myself with the enthusiasts.. I don't want to come across as a snob.. That's how some of you act. I love the GP, the friends and family I go to the park with is part of the GP. There's nothing wrong with the GP, all they want to do is have fun.
I applaude you aero for finally saying something that's been building up inside of me ever since I joined this website.
I ALSO hate when people actually make fun of the GP. Pfft! Without them spending money you wouldn't have coasters to get all crazy and psycho about!
Some just dont know common sense. They stand in front of a coaster with 7 inversions and ask if it goes upside down. They just say some funny things thats all, they're not bad people or nothing.
1. If Mind Eraser (SLC) sucks so bad, then why was it cloned so much. It was cloned about more than 30 times, more than Batman. Every park can't afford a B&M, because they are very expensive.
2. Yes SFGAdv and SFGAm is bigger than SFNE, but how long has SFNE been in the SF chain? For only 6 years, where as the other two parks have been in the chain for a while.
3. The GP makes up the park, not the enthusiasts. Without them going to them parks there would be no Disney, Six Flags, Paramount, Cedar Fair, Universal, etc.

I rode Top Gun at PCandaW and it was pretty decent. The elements are actually pretty unique (the double inline was nice). Enthusiasts complain far too much about SLC's.
Boomerangs suck. SLCs are a step short of decent. I do agree that most enthusiasts hate on them too much, they arent horrible. Maybe the one @ SFNE is rougher than most...
And I did mention I liked the double inline, it was smooth too. The other elements were too rough in my opinion.
