Deep River, Sunday August 28th

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We went to the water park today for my boyfriend's birthday, which was yesterday. Got there around 1, first thing we did was take a dip in the wave pool. Then, we went to the Dragon since I could not wait to go on it. Went on the not-so-steep slide first since the steep one freaks me out a bit. Then I went on the steeper one, and the other one again. Man I absolutely LOVE these two slides!

Next, we went by the Storm slides. We went on the Cyclone because that one's the best. I absolutely love going down dark tube slides where you can't see where the crap you're going. We went in the wave pool again just cause the waves were going.. and stayed in for a bit.

We went around the lazy river 2 times which was quite fun. Then, we did both of the bowl slides. Ahh, I love bowl slides, they are so fun. We stayed in the lazy river again for 1 round and then left the area. We went over by the blue slides, and went down the tubed body slide. Wasn't exactly how I remembered it from last time, but it was still awesome. I wanted to go on it again but we were really hungry so then we went to eat.

Went in the wave pool once again after that. Next, we went by the Storm slides again, and I went on the Abyss, the one in the middle. I love double drops on anything :) Then we went over to the Dragon again. I ran up the steps in excitement, wanting to go on the steep slide, and once I got to the top my stomach dropped and I got a bit scared for some odd reason. Being way up there, about to go down those slides just creeps me out. I even let my boyfriend go in front of me going down the steeper one. Then I went on the other one 3 times in a row, and went on the steep one one last time. The only down part about these slides is that they really sting your back, especially the steep one. But they truly are AMAZING, and the view going down is great. Oh and the other down part is walking up the steps 8 times in one day.

The last slide we went on was the Cylcone, and this time we went together instead of single. Got even more airtime, sweet ride. For the last 5 minutes we went in the wave pool even though they didn't do any waves. They closed at 5:45.

Overall a great day, I think that was 20 things we did. I really like this water park and I can't wait to go again next year. After my 2 visits there this year, I can't decide which kind of slide I like better, either a body slide, bowl slide, or dark tube slide.
