Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby danieln84 on May 23rd, 2005, 7:27 pm
So i know im REALLY bad at writing Trip Reports....so here is a Trip Report/Summery

I just got back from Six Flags, The waterpark looks awsome, i didnt take pictures.

Rides that were down today: Deja Vu, Hometown fun machine, All major water rides (EXCEPT ROARING RAPIDS) and King Chaos

Crowds: They were good, lots of schools, we got on ALL major Rollercoasters within 3 hours....after that we re-road everthing

Ride's we rode, in order (only first run around)
We basicly started with Superman, and worked are way all the way around the park

IN order: Superman, Rajin Cajin, Batman, V2, Iron Wolf, American Eagle, Demon, Giant Drop, Car break/food, Vipor, Raging Bull. AFter that we pretty much re-rode all the rides again, getting on everything again once.

Weather: WIERD, 1 minutes its sunny and hot, then its cold, cloudy and sometimes rain. Off and on all day

It was awsome, cant wait, hopefully i can go next week

More security then usual today, some security watching Raging Bull QUEUE watching for Line jumpers and stuff.

Workers so friendly, ALOT OF NEW SAYINGS and FUNNY TALK today rather then the usual "Enjoy your ride" here are some of the funny sayings that we heard today...

Giant Drop- Instead of Enjoy your ride he said BINGO, or HOLLAR
V2 - He added words to the standard "cleared for launch
Cleared for launch....GOODBYE
Cleared for launch....AND YOUR OUT!!!!

Superman - Preparing to Soar.....FLY, FLY AWAY!!!!
Ready to fly? - Superman Riders now Flying away

Ragin, Batman, Iron wolf, American eagle, Vipor and Raging Bull really didnt talk much.

Hurricane Harbor - Looks GREAT!!!!

Lots of sand, Palms, Lazy River Up and running.
They were doing alot of work on the Entrance, and cleaning up the paths for work.

I heard 1 worker getting yelled at the guy was like

"WEDNESDAY, dont you understand....the park needs to be done wednesday meaning YOU!!!! need to finish your (excuse my language) G*d D*mn Work to get this entrance ready"

I was like, o geez, he is getting snapped on.

Yeah, when I went on V2 (I went yesterday) I noticed the goodbye thing too. And I thought of "the weakest link."
And then another thing is that an operator for american eagle started a slow clap before two trains raced.

LMAO. But yeah, they better get that entrance done. There shouldn't be too much more to have done in that aspect.

BTW, the waterpark isn't supposed to be 100% done until July. But the important stuff will be completed.

I noticed a CATCH pool on the Island which the river goes around.

Will that be the location for the "Not yet announced TORNADO?" which every water park has seem to gotten this year?

Ride Operators: All put thumbs Up
Ride Controller: BINGO!!!!

AHHH That cracks me up when he just busts out with BINGO....sorry i took my Flonas today, im hyper as hell

P.S. thanx to who ever moved this into the Trip REport Section.....i usually dont do reports i forgot. I sorry :(

"Hi my name is Proslide and I can retire now because I sold about 25 tornado's in one year." 3 went into the Dells this year, and another will be at SFGAm next year. These are going to be old news real fast.

I also went today, so I'll just add a few notes here. I don't think Raging Bull opened up with the park, as I saw a large line after getting off from Viper.

Superman's line shrinked to the station around 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm, so I caught about 10 rides for the day. There was a problem with one of the trains late in the afternoon, causing about a 15 minute shutdown. There were only about two rows of riders left at this point, and it was really, really cold by this time.

In regards to Hurricane Harbor, one construction worker gave a nice "ha" when asked if the park would open Saturday. The lazy/Adventure River is now filled. Also, the metal archway to the entrance of HH now has letterings that spell out Hurricane Harbor.

I ended the night with a few rides on Raging Bull. After the final ride of the night, I was walking behind a few lifeguards from HH. They were all pretty short, and seemed to look fairly young.

P.S. Happy 24th, American Eagle.

Well, it's opening on Saturday whether he likes it or not. Most of it will be ready in less than 30 hours if he likes it or not.

In regards to this report, So most flats opened up today?

Yep, most flats opened up with the park, or early afternoon. The Scenic Train, Condor, King Chaos, and Stargate were the only major closed flats.

And, as an added note, two of the 6 new games in SW Territory are now in operation. There's Blockbuster, where you throw a ball at three stacked blocks, and a standard ring-toss game.

Is V2 Going Away? Or another ride?

And another thing, I don't think the water park will be ready for Media Day, and It's Grand Opening. They should've moved the schedule back to like July 4th

JULY 4TH?! All the rides are functioning (sans Scull Mountain), the lifegaurds have been traind, landscaping is in full swing, and work is going around the clock. Why do they need until July 4th? They will be done.

And V2 isn't going anywhere. The Goodbye was reffering to the Spiel (announcement when you get on a ride) before you get launched. Instead of the standard "Clear for Launch" they added "Clear For Launch... GOODBYE" and launched the ride on goodbye.

They are saying goodbye to the riders, not the ride itself.

^huh?
1. Only by 13
2. Why does it matter? Post count alone does not reflect one's attitude and knowledge.

And besides the waterpark will open saturday Skull Island or Not. and Chances are if it's not open on saturday which is probably will, it may be open on Sunday, so it really isn't that big a deal.

Actually, I was aiming that at Losiento1224 for unnecessarily taking down another poster. Sireze didn't do anything wrong. If you're trying to tell me that Losiento1224 has better attitude and knowledge than Sireze, you're badly mistaken. Now, Losiento1224, there's a taste of your own medicine.

I didn't mean to get conflict started. I was just saying that if they wasn't finish with the park, then they should've waited to open it on July 4. and Loisteno1224, I may ask sometimes DUMB Or STUPID Questions on this forum, but I don't really aprreciate you calling me a ametur and anybody else that! And for the Goodbye thing, my mistake. I didn't Read that part.
