My birthday trip to fright fest.....!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby iheartsixflags on October 31st, 2004, 10:12 pm
So me and my boyfriend went to Great AMerica on 10/30, for my birthday thats on Halloween, and it was CROWDED. I've been on Sat. before in the summer and it was nothing like it was yesterday. We ended up leaving at 7 because 3 rides were closed for weather conditions and we were freezing and miserable and for the first time in my LIFE I left an amusment park early. EVen though we left at 7pm they were still filing cars into thew overflow parking lot... it was CRAZY. The only excpetional part of the day was that my boyfriend proposed to me! It was fabulous!!! I was so excited (and for the inquiring minds who want to know ... I said yes) I couldn't think of a better place to be proposed to then at an amusment park!!!! Well, anyway thats how my trip went! :D

He did it on that center flower/bush/banch thing thats over by the entrance to The SOuthwast "Scareatory" and that Ma's Chicken Place right in front of the bungee trampoline thingy's.... according to his sisters though he was supposed to do it on the lift hill for Raging Bull but I was a loser and was to cold to want to wait in it's insanly long line.

That's the fountain by the troll bridge. I'm glad we didn't muck it up for you...

(we tend to make fun of couples that sit there and bother them some).

Haha... I agree! There's no more of a romantic place then 6 Flags! Seriously, amusment parks are my second home and I couldn't have asked for a better proposal... now if only i could get married on a roller-coaster... hmmmm... lol! Oh yeah and "Ruk" it would have been hilarious is you had "mucked it up some" (did you even work on the 30th?) I'm a huge fan of the characters and what they do, even though some people can be punks to you guys sometimes, I still love you guys and appreciate what you do!!!

I worked every day of the show.

I don't know about weddings ON coasters, but Six Flags did host Halloweddings this year, where people got married in the park dressed for Halloween. I think it happened on Columbus day.

There have been occasions (at other parks) where people got married at a coaster's station the hopped on the ride.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.

Even a couple of people have gotten married on the ride. I saw this thing on travel channel and these people did it.
