--------------------------------------------------------------
Left home around 6am for no real reason, Had 2 friends with me (My brother was going to go, but he had a bowling tournament

Got to Gurnee around 8:00, went to krispy kreme for a little bit, then went to park and was like 3rd or 4th car waiting at gate. 9:20-9:30 or so they let us in, got in line, opened gates to park around 9:45 or so (all estimates since I dont remember really, lol) and they had employee's stoping everyone around caraosel plaza. They had a opening day show with bugs and gang, then they let us go.
Took off to Deja Vu, Was closed so we ran around to Raging Bull. Got 3rd train, backrow. Not bad. Got right back on again for a ride in middle somewhere.
Next up was 2 rides on Viper, Station was completely empty. New this year are the seatbelts, which dont do anything to the ride. Felt like it was running fast to me, but then again, maybe its just me, lol!
Took 2 rides on Demon, Walk on as usual.
Took a ride on revolution, starts out slow, but once it changes direction it gets intense, but only lasts for 10-15 seconds which isnt to great. Then again its nice to have a good flat ride in the park!
American eagle was next (Also a walk-on, which was normal for the day for everything) Took the blue train first, followed by a ride on the red train. First drop is always great, rest of ride was good. No more photo's on ride, they still need to fix up the area where they used to sell the photo's, as it looks pretty crappy, lol!
Got a ride on Iron Wolf - Back row. Line started at bottom of line, 5 minute wait. I always have loved Iron wolf, was running good.
Batman was a walk-on. New paintjob is nice. At first I didnt like it in pictures I had seen, but the Yellow doesnt look that bad. Im glad they kept some of the scenery for the ride, though they did clean up a lot of the stuff

V2 had a fairly long line, so we skipped it for time being.
It was now around Noon, so we got in line for Superman. Line started at bottom of stairs, took backrow. Its running good. We still had a while until the 1:30 showing of 'we got the beat' so we got in line again. We were 2nd to next to get in line for backrow again when ride broke down. One train was in station, other train loaded with people was in the break run (Farthest back part of it) 5 minutes later some mechanics show up, got a ladder out and looked the breaks over. From reading other TR's I read this happened sometime else in the day in which they replaced a sensor. They didnt replace anything this time, and after about 20 minutes they started it back up. So we got another ride on that then.
We got the beat was fairly good. Has around 6 of the Looney Toon characters singing various 80's songs.
After that we took 2 trips around on the Train, then were going to get our passes processed but line was pretty long so we left park and went to White castle for some food.
Came back and went to the new stargate motion simulator, Not bad. Took a trip on Sky trek, always nice to get view of the park!
Saw Deja VU testing, had a small line waiting to get in, so we went to arcade and watched a really good person do DDR. Then we rode Bull again, then to Deja VU - Waiting 20 minutes or so for front row. Good ride, if only it was open more often!!!!!!!
We rode train again for 1 1/2 trips, another ride on Iron Wolf, then a trip on v2 since it was a walk-on. My one friend didnt want to ride since on deja vu he thought he almost blacked out, so he didnt go.
Got a cup of Pudding from next door, then went back to v2. It was having some problems, and since it was a walk-on we left and went on Revolution again. Not good to ride after eating a big ol cup of pudding. I wasnt smiling is all I can say

We headed over to Raging Bull, someone had puked on the Yellow train in the middle so took them awhile to clean that up. Luckily we got on Red train, haha!
We took 2 more rides on Viper, walk ons, then we left park around 10 minutes before 8 (close) Went to Gurnee Mall for awhile, then took off home.
Overall day was great, other then really cold weather in the 40's. Luckily it didnt rain which was expected. Park was empty, specially after 4pm or so when buses took off, park was completely dead. Im going back May 8th, so hopefully it will be much of same, except some warmer weather
