Goliath v. Outlaw Run

What is the best RMC custom Outlaw Run or Goliath?
Please only vote if you have ridden both.

Probably won't be able to vote in this topic until Spring Break, next year. Oh well, still got Goliath practically in my BackYard.

Outlaw Run is the better coaster in my opinion, but Goliath is more re-rideable.

OR feels more out of control and has better ejector air throughout the ride. Goliath's drop is better and the zero g stall is amazing. But I prefer OR as a ride.

OR has a better length, more airtime, and better theming.

Goliath has a better drop, better inversions, and more reridability.

That said, I choose Outlaw Run. Just a more solid coaster all around

Goliath. Outlaw Run didn't seem all that memorable to me. Not a terrible ride by any means, but Goliath just blows it away.

Jodon and BBH sum up the differences nicely, but I prefer Goliath. I found Outlaw run to be a bit painful and not that reridable. One thing I noticed on Goliath immediately on my first ride, was the double U shaped ankle restraint. Outlaw Run uses a straight one. This is a big difference to me in pain versus pleasure, and probably the single biggest reason for my preference of Goliath.

^ The ankle restraints on Outlaw Run were replaced this year with the same ones Goliath has.

Dang, I wish I had known that. I was just in Branson 2 weeks ago. We went to Kansas City Schlitterbahn instead . I did get to ride Verruckt instead. Does Verruckt count as a coaster though???

It was pretty neat. Definitely the best ride there. It was surprisingly windy at the top. Despite having a waterphobia, I wasn't nervous at all about riding it. It's not the best or most thrilling water attraction I have been on, though.

Operations suck on it. We got to the park 1/2 hr early, and waited an hour after opening for our reservation time of 5pm. We got back over there at 4:45 and it was after 6 by the time we slid down. So we had about 2 hrs and 45 minutes invested in riding it. Yes, it was worth it, because without Verruckt we would not have gone there in the first place. It is the biggest reason we went.

It's a hard question. And as much as I want to say Goliath because it's at my home park, I will choose Outlaw Run.

Outlaw Run was the roller coaster that made me "coaster crazy". It's an amazing experience. I love the pre-drop and speed of the lift, and the overbanks are amazing. And it's a toss up with the inversions. I like Goliath's zero g stall more than Outlaw Run's overbank inversion, although the barrel rolls were much better to the dive loop. I felt more airtime on Outlaw Run, and that sums it up. Both great coasters but it can really go either way. I choose Outlaw Run

I'm aware I'm late on this but I've had stuff going on. I'm glad to be back on the forums in over a year. Outlaw Run is a little too intense for my liking. It's not as reridable as Goliath, and I missed the Zero-G Stall.

Going by just the thread title, having ridden Outlaw Run for the first time recently, it's not even close Outlaw run by a mile and then some. Not that Goliath is a bad ride by any stretch, but Outlaw Run is the FAR superior ride.
